My Lord! I thought after yesterday's emotional episode, I would be more prepared for today's one but my word Sumeer are out to destroy me. Such raw gutwrenching performances from both and I must say especially Gashmeer.👏 That ambulance scene *sob* 🥺😭
I thought that moment when Imlie asked him to remove all symbols of their marriage was powerful and his reaction to that was very telling. My mind instantly went to that scene when they were mid-journey back to Pagdandiya and she had put on her marital finery. The stark difference between the way he taunted her about it back then and the way he collapsed down when Imlie asked him to remove them was just incredible. He was sobbing as he washed her sindoor. Why? Shouldn't he be relieved that she reminded him in the knick of time? It was a very symbolic scene and it didn't upset me when he removed them because both times when he tied the mangalsutra on her, he wasn't happy about it. So I'll be waiting for the day he ties it on her with love and that gorgeous smile.❤️
Adi has accepted and promised to fulfil his responsibility. I'm happy with that. It's a start and it's progress. I understand it's too early for him to fully come out and accept a marital relationship with Imlie (that will come later). Now it'll be interesting to see in what ways he upholds his responsibility. For starters, I know he'll be kinder in the way he treats her and he won't strive to send her back to Pagdandiya (he came to that decision BEFORE Mithi requested it of him). I believe he'll support her college admission. Even with just these changes, there's so much scope for lots of drama lol. For instance, if he starts being particularly caring towards her in front of everyone, you can bet Mrs Chaturvedi's antannae will be pinging and she'll probably start to question what's going on between them and try to convince Malini that he's been chugging from those dreaded wells of Pagdandiya😆 Malini might even start having doubts even though she'll do her usual overly sweet "i trust Adi" speeches to her mum. Then with college admission, if I recall Malini wanted Imlie to study at the college where she works. Oooh remember Imlie's mark sheets have her full husband's name on them? Malini might see those As for not wanting to send Imlie to Pagdandiya, I think at some point Imlie herself will want to go back especially when she'll feel some romantic fireworks coming from her Babusaheb *wiggles eyebrows*😆. It'll be too dangerous to be around him in that volatile situation because we all know she will never do anything to actively hurt Malini. See there's just so much Adilicious scope to build just from Adi's one promise to accept "responsibility".
As for Malini being back on our screens, I'm not even phased by that. Mark my words, every single plan she makes to get close to Adi will fail. Bless this girl, she's out here wasting food and candles. I'm I evil for replaying that moment Adi cut her call with a full blown irritated huff an embarassing number of times? 🤣 After this phenomenal Adilie week, I'm fully energised to handle any Adoon scenes cos I know Adi will be needing that "fast-forward moon" button far more than me with all those thoughts of Imlie replaying in his mind constantly. 😉
