But since day 1 , I'm always feeling bad for him and I sympathized with him and defended him in every possible way. Even wrote a big post in his support. 😆
In no way I'm overlooking or dismissing his pain and his helplessness that he must've felt . He went through the fear of death followed by a forced marriage and came back with his wife with a fiance waiting at home and his family members preparing for his marriage. Now that wife is staying at his house and he's getting married as preplanned and his fiance is not just unaware of his previous marriage, she's not even ready to accept it. Just imagine the terrible condition he's stuck in ??
Like I said , full sympathy for the mental turmoil , guilt and constant fear of truth coming out he must be going through. And though he always lashed out at Imlie ,there was one time when he opened up and tried to explain to her why he's treating her this way. He's not angry at her per se. He does not want to scold her but somehow he always does because she reminds him of that hidden burden he's carrying in his heart ,what is driving him crazy.
Yesterday also he's telling her how much turmoil he's in. Because she's also the only person to whom he can frankly speak about this event.
But that does not mean he's right in treating Imlie the way he's doing. He's completely wrong. He knows that Imlie has lost far far more out of this event. His world has undergone a shake , her world is gone. He should've at least acknowledged her pain and her loss once , especially after she once explained it to him beautifully. Also , he has no gratitude that she's the keeper of his secret and taking it wonderfully as she witnesses her husband getting married to another woman.
There is one simple rule. If you want others to understand your pain , be the person who understands other's pain.
Aditya is not that person. So why cut him any slack ?
