Bazar se uthaya gaya Imlie ki achaar mein jaise wo swaad nehi aati, jaisa ki ghar mein maa ke hath ke banaye huye Imlie ke achaar mein hota hai.
Keu ki ek readymade hai. Dusre ko bahut waqt aur dhyan aur pyar se maa ghar mein banati hai. To dono ka swaad kaise ek ho sakta hai ? Readymade cheese mein wo feel nehi aati.
Culinary metaphor aside 😆 , we all know Aditya Tripathi , humare babusaheb ek number ke battameez ,besharam , behaya aur tangnazar yani ki ungenerous insaan hai and his characterization is right now at the bottom of the pit. He's always giving Imlie time of the day for no fault of hers , criticises her and also denying their marriage.
But is Aditya hopeless ?? I don't think so. Yet.
He insults Imlie a lot but when it counts he strongly supports her. He stood firm against his entire family's opinions that Imlie can not be a thief , he knows she can be goofy even stupid at times but never greedy . Imlie bewakoof ho sakti hai , jhalli ho sakti hai , pad chor kabhi nehi ho sakti. The conviction guys .
Moreover , that doubt didnt even cross his mind even after they entered the house and she was missing, along with cash or jewelry. Let's face it , at that point I can not even fault Aditya's family for their presumptions. Any one would have done the same . Anyone but Aditya.
Also he knew her enough that she won't leave with out her scholarship papers. So he knows for her, studies and academics are important than any cash or jewelry. He remembered each little pieces of conversation they had in her village and correlate them to her nature. Also he was really worried for Imlie when she was not opening the door and his anxiety was clearly visible too. And it was worry for her since he didn't doubt for a moment about the expensive stuffs getting stolen. He nearly injured himself in breaking the door , was angry when bhabi called the police and was sure she'll be around the corner and ran to her when he found her unconscious. He could've just let his family members deal with her state but he stayed around till he could see she gained consciousness and left when he was sure that she was completely fine. And before they asked her about the money or jewelry that were still missing at that point. Very important.
I don't think he doesn't care . He does. His anger is clouding his better judgment as it often does . Which is why anger is counted as one of the 7 sins. Not only was he held at gun points and knife points, his character and integrity were questioned. It made him even more angry. Itna to banta hai.
In the village fair also remember how he was only clicking pictures of Imlie ,he was almost in a trance and couldn't take his eyes off her either through naked eyes or through lenses and he couldn't stop from obsessively capturing her every expression. Where he could have taken picture of so many other things in the fair .
Also , his smirks when Imlie tried to gang up the villagers against him on their first meeting and he turned the tide against her by clicking their pictures. He was not at all annoyed that this slip of a girl was just trying to get him beaten.
Also , he was not even the slightest bit angry at her that she had punctured his scooter and he was really tired having to walk all the way , sweating and panting. He was immediately mesmerized by seeing her dancing and enjoying herself. In fact Imlie blushed when she saw him and remembered her prank .
As she was making faces at him , he was again just amused and smirking as if very satisfied with himself . 
Even when she was in the boat with her friends Aditya stopped the scooter and was taking pictures. His father in law is lost is Mithi's thought while painting and here Imlie is his favorite topic to capture.
This is the Adi Imlie brings out . Full on smirking and chilled. He needs to snap out of his I've betrayed Moon guilty phase for that guy to come back.
The Adi we see in Pagdandiya aka Imlie's Adi is so much more likeable and starkly different than the one in the city or Moon's Aditya if I might say.
Even now he behaves with her more kindly when they are alone and the Pagdandiya Aditya comes out . He also couldn't stand to see her cry when she came to give him kheer. I think the gentleman doth protest too much . He's already fallen in his own eyes by denying the marriage and hiding the truth ( apne aap se nazar nehi mila pa raha hu ) he doesn't want to let down his fiance too but he knows he's doing that ( mein aap ko dhoka nehi dena chahta Moon , pad mein aap ko dhoka hi to de raha hu ).
He clearly likes Imlie . But he thinks it's immoral to betray Moon after 7years of relationship and promise for marriage and he also knows he's already betrayed her.
So he's overcompensating by giving Imlie the time of the day and showering affection and praise for Moon. It's a phase that'll pass.
Also because of their significant age difference ( it could be 8- 9 years based on how old Aditya might be) he was programmed by modern society not to look at girls so younger than him as possible subjects of passion so the attraction he might feel for her can not be easily recognized until it is difficult to ignore because it has become full fledged love.
He keeps on reminding her of her place , I think he's actually reminding himself of his place. 😆 Chor ke dari mein tinka .😆 Instead of saying to himself she's off limit for me, he keeps telling her I'm off limit to you as if she doesn't know that or she is throwing herself at him when she's basically avoiding him if she can.
Also , he gets very frustrated everytime his family members appreciate her or praise her ,call her cute etc. The fact that she is capable of easily winning over the hearts of his family members when she's just here as maid completely and utterly frustrates him . It reminds him how adorable and loveable she is naturally. How effortlessly she can win hearts. Dangerous thoughts to harbour for a person in the position of Aditya. Who is trying to salvage his ego , promise and future plans pre Imlie as it is. So he keeps telling her to keep distance from his family . Somehow it would've been so much easier for him to hate her if she had given him one cause or she was an unlikable person.
He told Moon that Imlie has no importance for him but when Malini's father asked her name he was the first one to answer , as if he couldn't help himself ( watch the scene ). Anu had her radars up.
Gul heroes ( pick one , your favorite one and see 😆 ) usually start at rock bottom and pick up an upward curve. So expecting too much right from the beginning will be a mistake. The joy is in the journey not in the destination.
I'm not the show writer. Mujhe nehi pata banda sahi hai ya nehi . Pad sahi ya galat batane la waqt abhi nehi aya. Ab readymade achha character mein wo baat kaha jo character ki transformation and graph dekhne mein hai... maa ke hath ke banaye Imlie ki achaar ki tarha.
