"The greatest gift and honor is having you for a daughter." 😭❤

Such a pure scene, because all he wanted is for her to come back safe and sound.

Fa Zhou did not care about the sword, about the glories, or about anything else.

And the line he says at the beginning of the movie came true.

"The flower that blooms in adversity is the most beautiful of all."

"Things will look better in the morning."

Bagheera is trying to get Mowgli to understand he is better suited with those like his own, because there is blind hatred that exists between man and nature, due to which Sher Khan won't hesitate to kill him. Natural habitats are conducive for growth, and change is the only constant, though it might look bleak in the moment, but everyday the sun comes up with a new hope.

Reflection vs Shadow

Interesting scene! Peter Pan and Tinker Bell reach London and find their shadow and reflection respectively. While shadows are determined by the source of light, the shape of the object, and the surface on which they are cast, and they leave you when you are in the dark; reflections are simply an extension of the object image onto another plane or set of planes within the perspective view, and show you who you are, flaws and all. A reflection is a more honest account of your personality, than a shadow that only shows what is left behind.

"You know somethin', Robin. I was just wonderin', are we good guys or bad guys?"

The world is made of good and bad. It is all a matter of perspective, given the particular context at hand, and it's important not to ignore either mindset when taking any decision. While Little John sees their actions as taking from the rich (realist), Robin Hood sees it as giving to the poor (idealist). What is one person's inequality is another's prosperity.

“You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”

Childhood is a part of our life, but it is inevitable, just like others, Christopher Robin is also forced to grow out of it and leave the things that once meant the world to him (Winnie The Pooh) behind while moving forward to navigate greater challenges. But whenever one feels low, those are also the things that remind one who they once were, and who they are capable to be.

“Ladies do not start fights...but they can finish them!”

Marie is my absolute favourite in this movie for her comebacks!! Hehe!! We've seen this even with the women in our own households, there is usually an intuition to keep everyone together by deciding which fights to pick, and which ones to ignore, and are effectively capable of resolving/finishing them to reach a favourable outcome that benefits both parties. Being a lady is not about appearances, it is about your grace shining through for everyone to see.

"I've never seen so many books in my life..it's wonderful"

A library represents order, structure, intellect, and tells the story of a culture, individuals, communities, countries, and the world. By gifting Belle a library, the Beast essentially gives her the power to understand many new things without having to travel, and enhance her knowledge of the world. It is honestly one of the best gifts you could ever give anyone, and really thoughtful too!

"Sometimes you feel just so trapped.."

Aladdin and Yasmine. This one is a classic case of feeling the grass is greener on the other side, they day it at the same time with the melancholic expressions on their faces as they look upon the palace. They've lived in different social circumstances that make them feel inadequate in their own ways. While Aladdin has the thirst for resources to fulfil basic needs, so he does not have to resort to thrifting; Yasmine wants the freedom to make her choices independent of others, because her life is dictated to her otherwise.

"Is beauty all that matters to you?" "What else is there?"

Derek decides to get married to Odette just after being attracted to her physical beauty, and believing that is all that is required for companionship. She also found him extremely handsome at first sight, but this statement of his dismisses her on a superficial level, and shows her they have a values mismatch.

"Remember who you are. Take your place in the circle of life."

Love the Hakuna Matata scenes, but this one is so much more impactful. Rafiki reminding Simba how those that die never really leave us, and Mufasa's soul, hopes and dreams still live inside him, he just has to channel that strength and lead himself out of his past to fulfil his duties.
