Wow, what a nostalgic trip down memory lane! This episode captures the essence of college life, with its rivalries, friendships, and drama. The new characters add complexity and depth to the story, and the Word of the Day perfectly encapsulates Sharon's dazzling style. smiley10smiley32 The Dialog of the Day and Scene of the Day are unforgettable, highlighting Kriya's growth and the underlying class divide. And the Blooper of the Day adds a touch of lighthearted fun. Overall, a well executed episode that leaves you wanting more! smiley42smiley27

I'm glad you like the format... it's fun picking out the best scene, dialog, etc from each episode smiley10.

I actually hit rewind to listen to Sharon's "Dazzling Diva High-Class Way" bcz of the way she says it. And Kriya's dialog made me laugh even though she's serious about it smiley36. For the bloopers, I'm having a blast picking out those moments and twisting them into a story of their own smiley36. Thode aur episodes hote hote, I might develop a whole side story on the horror genre smiley37.

The writers have done a fantastic job of building their chemistry, and I'm already hooked on their story. The supporting characters are also adding a lot of depth, especially Sharon's complex personality and Neha's sweet innocence. The 'star collisions' theme is a great touch, and I can't wait to see how it all plays out! smiley41smiley10 I did guess the very obvious storyline that Kriya would turn out to be Gautam & Smriti’s child. smiley19smiley38smiley44

@Red Thank you smiley9. I was immediately hooked onto that idea when seeing Kriyaansh's constant takrana and girna smiley36.

We were all waiting for that storyline... Kriya and Sharon being sisters / half-sis. On one hand, family drama would have robbed D3 of it's unique youth based college charm and made it into any regular TV series... but on the other, it would have made for an interesting storyline and added a different angle to the lead's inter-relationships. Does make me wonder how that would have played out 🤔.

Dl Dosti Dance – Episode 3 (13th April 2011)

College Mein Nayi Nayi

Written Update :

This episode starts with a bang. Kriya, who has unknowingly occupied Sharon’s seat in the canteen, gets derided by her in front of all others in the canteen. Not one to take insult quietly, Kriya responds in kind, and this encounter marks their first conflict in what seems like a long rivalry to unfold.

As Kriya leaves the canteen, she drops her iPod there by mistake, and proceeds towards the basketball court. But here too, some girls jeer at her for her old-fashioned hairstyle and dressing sense, antagonizing her further. At that point, she realizes her iPod is missing and goes back inside the college to find it. Meanwhile, Sharon has angrily retired to the rehearsal hall, dancing and plotting her revenge against Kriya for the canteen fiasco.

Back in the canteen, we find Rey with his friends as they are questioning him about his conversation with Kriya, which has become the talk of the college and is apparently damaging Rey’s reputation. As, he tries to calm their fears, he notices Kriya’s iPod lying on the canteen floor, and thinking it to be a surprise gift for him from one of his admirers, pockets it. Upon finding that Sharon is fuming because of the morning’s happenings, he decides to make his way to the rehearsal hall, but bumps into Kriya on the way.

The two of the them get into another argument even as the other students including Rey’s friends stand witness. Upon realizing that they are being filmed by their audience, Rey leaves, and Vicky tries to threaten the students into submission.

Kriya continues to be upset about her atrocious first day of college and when she recounts the events to Neha, she is informed by her about how famous and talented Sharon is, especially in dancing. Neha loves Sharon’s dance and further calls Rey and Sharon as the dancing couple of their college even as we see why they are called s

What an intense start to the episode! smiley42

The conflict between Kriya and Sharon definitely sets the stage for an ongoing rivalry. Kriya standing up for herself in the canteen was a bold move, but it seems like it's only made things harder for her. Losing her iPod and being mocked by other students just adds to her terrible first day. smiley14

Rey's misunderstanding with the iPod is intriguing it’s funny how he thought it was a gift. I wonder how Kriya will react when she finds out he has it. Sharon's reaction to the whole canteen incident and her plotting revenge adds even more drama. The dynamic between Rey, Sharon, and Kriya is already so compelling.

Neha's explanation about Sharon and Rey being the college's star dancers adds an interesting layer to the story. I'm really curious to see how Kriya's presence will shake things up in their world. smiley10

The canteen scene is something I've two minds about. On one hand, Kriya standing up for herself is a good move but on the other hand, she was slightly in the wrong for sitting in someone else's place... and does she really want the kind of rep she is building for herself... by picking fights on her first day. When you're entering a new place, especially since she has entered in the middle of the sem if I'm not wrong, it would be better to keep a low profile whilst familiarizing yourself with the environment. But then, Kriya and low profile don't go hand in hand smiley36. And Sharon was a little too demeaning so Kriya wouldn't have stayed quiet... no matter what.

Rey's misunderstanding is equally funny and stupid. He just leaves the ongoing conversation with his friends hanging in between to pick up the iPod... and then goes on to say that it must be a gift for him?! smiley44 Why would someone place an unwrapped and used gift like that on the floor smiley29. And in next episode he will say that he thought it was Simmi's that's why he picked it up... like whatttt...?! smiley23 This scene needed better writing smiley24.

I'm glad that they didn't go with the obvious Sharon-Rey-Kriya love triangle (although they hinted it strongly in the beginning). I like their equations the way they are smiley10.

I totally get what you mean about the canteen scene. Kriya definitely made an impression, but maybe not the one she intended. Standing up for herself was great, but picking fights on her first day might not be the best way to go. I agree, keeping a low profile would have been smarter, especially since she joined mid-semester. But like you said, Kriya and low profile just don't mix! And Sharon's reaction was definitely over the top.

Rey's misunderstanding with the iPod was hilarious but also pretty unrealistic. I mean, who picks up an old iPod from the floor and assumes it's a gift?smiley36 It did feel like a bit of a writing stretch. His explanation in the next episode about thinking it was Simmi's makes it even more confusing! smiley22

I also appreciate that they didn't dive straight into a love triangle. The dynamic between Sharon, Rey, and Kriya is interesting enough without that cliché. I'm curious to see how their relationships develop without the typical drama. smiley9

Hi!

I think there is a way to delete accounts... you have to make a request to the admin team I guess. If you want, I can find out the exact process and let you know (although I hope you keep this account and participate in the discussion smiley9).

You can watch the show on Instagram channel d3gang_lovers which is run by one of the members of this forum - SarafWasima smiley10. The initial episodes (upto 73) are also on the Rumble channel D3Rewind.

My analysis posts have a written update of the episode and there are plenty of pictures so you can even scroll through them directly if you so wish. Episodes 1-3 are done and I'll be continuing further shortly smiley4. About the toxic elements of the show, I was wondering whether to point them out in my analysis but finally decided to refrain from it as I wanted to keep it a positive recollection of the show. But feel free to point them out in comments... in fact, we have already been discussing some of those things in this thread.

So glad to know your old attachment to the forum and would love it if you could bring your friends along too. After all, the more the merrier smiley40. The website has changed over the years so I understand the difficulties you might be facing. You're welcome to PM me or message on this thread for any help you need in navigating the website smiley27.

Looking forward to more interactions with you smiley9.

Love,

Stuti

P.S. Making the post "Members Only" means I cannot quote your post... that is why replying to you with a tag again.
