Pratibha in this new avatar is awesome. Why do they have to downgrade Mahen to showcase Pratibha's new found assertiveness though? He has always been supportive every time she has tried to stand up for herself before, it would be nice to see Mahen continuing to do that for his wife. Isn't he the one that scaled the walls on the day of the wedding cos she asked him to? What happened to that Mahen?

I think that Mahen's reactions are understandable to a certain extent (not justifiable, though). Mahen is used to a wife who quietly fulfilled her responsibilities, went along with his decisions with no opinion of her own, who melded into the background and emerged to stand next to him as his wife when and if required. So, after being used to that Pratibha, this new and assertive Pratibha, who wants to earn the respect of her family, who wants equal footing in making decisions, who wants to be a part of the family instead of a wallflower/ or a glorified maid is something that is completely new to him and is something that he needs to learn to adjust with. I think that this track is as much about Mahen's growth and adjusting his needs to his wife as much as it is about Pratibha finding herself and standing on her own. 😊

Glad she called a spade a spade and Sunidhi a liar to her face. Glad she told Mahen she will not tolerate him yelling at her in front of the rest of the household. Glad she decided to sit at the table beside Mahen, where she belonged with the rest of the family.Boo on Mahen for walking away from the breakfast table. Hope Pratibha doesn't soften up 'cos he has walked away hungry from the table.Can't wait for Sunidhi to be brought down several pegs in front of all, and be shown for what she is, a dhokebaaz and drama queen.Can't wait for Pihu to realize her mother's worth and learn to respect Pratibha.The show seems to be moving in the right direction at long last, fingers crossed.
