HOW DOES SMOKING AFFECT A PERSON'S HEALTH?
Smoking affects a person's health in many serious ways, having both immediate and long term ill effects on your quality of life. It is a very serious addiction, caused by the drug nicotine. Once inhaled, nicotine from smoking reaches the brain almost immediately (within seven seconds). Milligram for milligram, the nicotine contained in all cigarette smoke is more potent than heroin.
Whenever you light a cigarette, the nicotine in its tobacco causes an increase in your heart rate and blood pressure, and the air passages in your lungs constrict, making it more difficult for you to breathe.
What is Passive Smoking!
The breathing in of air that contains other people's smoke
Five Reason to Quite Smoking!
1) Heart Disease
Coronary heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S., and the leading cause of death caused by smoking. The toxins in cigarette smoke cause plaques to form in the arteries, which leads to atherosclerosis, otherwise known as hardening of the arteries. Smoking is hard on the heart.
2) Stroke
stroke is the third leading cause of death worldwide, killing upwards of millions odf people each year. For smokers, the risk of stroke is nearly 2-1/2 times that of nonsmokers.
3) Lung Cancer
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death for both men and women, and with 87 percent of all lung cancer cases involving tobacco, it is one form of cancer that is preventable.
4) Emphysema/COPD
Tobacco use is the number one cause of COPD, and quitting smoking is the best way to halt further damage. It's estimated that as many as 10 million Americans suffer from COPD, with upwards of 14 million others who may have it but are undiagnosed.

What is Chain Smoking/Chain Smoker
Chain smoking is the practice of lighting a new cigarette for personal consumption immediately after one that is finished, sometimes using the finished cigarette to light the next one. The term is most often used more loosely to describe people who smoke relatively constantly, though not actually "chaining". Chain smoking is a term primarily applied to cigarette smoking, although it can be extended to cover cigar and pipe smoking as well.
King of Bollywood on Smoking!
Shah Rukh Khan seems to be one of the few film personalities who favour the ban on smoking in films. And this despite him being a chain smoker.
"Not that I haven't smoked onscreen. I did in (the 1995 Rajiv Mehra film) Ram Jaane," he continues. "But I don't think smoking needs to be an integral part of any character. It's as routine as a chair in the corner of a set or a bedsheet on a bed -- It shouldn't be something around which a film is designed. I don't think any film needs to be designed around a character who smokes."
To all the Chain Smoker/Smoker of the World...Remember That you all can Leave this habbit at any given time!! just that you have to have self determination and self belief that you can!
