1. What vegetarian foods do you think provide protein and iron?
I dont have much ideas, however from what I have read and heard, Nuts, dryfruits and kaddhanya (Beans?) are a good source of protein....
Similarly green vegetables have good source of iron.... as per my information.... I eat a lot of green veggies.... 😊
2. Vegetarians normally have iron deficiency. What can be done about this?
Most probably the person is not eating enough.... a suitable diet change can definitely help... however with excellent diet, if the iron deficiency is a result of higher requirement for the person's body, the person can take medical support in consultation with a doctor....😊
3. What fruits do you like to eat?
I like any fruits but bitter (aambat?) in taste.... okk i dont know the english name of the tastes so i will explain with fruits such as aawla, kaccha mango, or lemon or imli.... basically things woman have in pregnancy 😉😆 (this are the fruits I dont like).... all other fruits i like😆
4. What do you think a growing child should have daily to balance their daily requirements?
Requirements of growing child depend very much on the activity level and surrounding environment... For any growing child a sufficient supply of vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates, calories and iron is a must....
As per my thinking cornflakes and some ironrich and vitaminrich food is good in breakfast while lunch and dinner has to have protein, carbohydrates and iron contents.... Also fruits and fruit juices shall be given based on the activity level of child😊
5. What harmful effects can a child have by having too much candy? Why do you think we always offer sweets to children?
Anything in excess is bad for health.... candy definitely has high fats and cholesterol.... hence the food itself is unhealthy kind of food... also excess intake of candy does affect the tooth bones.... Yes elders mostly do the mistake of offering sweets to kids on any occasion....
I still remember i used to give sauf to my uncle's son when he was 2-3 years old.... but then after that is the age of disciplining and then i started to tell him that excess eating of anything is not good and also asking people for things is not good.... I started to not give the things that he requested but instead gave something that he did not request sometimes.... so slowly he stopped asking for things and also eating sauf😊
6. Provide your recipe for gulab jamoos😉. How did you make the syrup and what did you do to make it look brownish and not white?😆 How did you feel after eating the gulab jamoos?
I was definitely expecting this question from u😆.... okk... i got a gitz pack for gulab jamun some 250 grams.... so i said lets try it out.... I took out the misxture in a bowl and put water on gas for making sugar syrup.... Read the instructions about one litre water and 750 grams of sugar.... I first put in half kilo of sugar in one litre so its not sweet.... and started making dough of the mixture.... thank god i did nt put excess milk in dough😆.... I had read that u can make 50 or so jamuns... I saw the dove and said how can i make so many jamuns.... then i saw the syrup... the sugar was mixed but I had seen gulabjamuns and sugar syrup earlier so many times... the water has to become brown when sugar mixes😆.... so I put 250 grams of more sugar as they had suggested.... and started making the dough balls for gulab jamoon.... ofcourse I had seen the sizes of gulab jamun since childhood.... so i prepared 7 balls of gulabjamun size which i had seen since childhood😃.... then went back to see the syrup... sugar had mixed but syrup did nt change colour.... so put in the remaining 250 grams of sugar 😆.... then took kadhai and started frying the dough balls one by one.... was so happy that i got them brown and not black while frying 😃..... and exactly the size of gulabjamun i had seen till date😳..... then i saw the syrup... yeah ofcourse i was mad because it had not changed its colour yet.... i said ab jo hona hain hone do.... so i put it off with 1 kg sugar in 1 litre water.... syrup is ready but is not brown.... so i mix the 7 gulab jamun balls in the syrup and cover it with a thali to cool down.... I am so happy work completed successfully....
Half hour passes and i went to taste it... i take out the cover thali and .... see the gulab jamun big cricket balls.... they had expanded in syrup and the syrup was brown now.... I had one of it and i got a hangover of it for two days
will be back..........😈😆
