Post Entropion Surgery

My dog has had entropion surgery last week and it was supposed to be on the upper lids. In error, they did they bottom lids and forgot to put an e-collar on so that he ripped out the stitches and had to be redone.
When I picked him up on the second day, I found that they had not done the uppers. The lower lids are saggy and may never be the same but I found I could not wait for them to heal before doing the uppers as his corneal ulcer was so bad that they thought he might lose the eye.

So now, his discomfort with the lashes on the cornea has been resolved but his eyes are very swollen and the bottoms are red and saggy.

I am hoping someone can give me suggestions on what to do to promote healing and reduce the swelling.

Thanks so much for any advice I can get.
