I've recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and hypothyroid. I am being treated for both. I don't know if these conditions will resolve themselves in the future as my doctor suggested that I could become healthy again when I lose weight.

I'm 25 and I'm wondering what risks these conditions will pose for me for a pregnancy after marriage?

I've read that hypothyroid and metabolic disorders can lead to serious complications as well as birth defects in infants. I really want to be a mother one day and I'm wondering if a healthy pregnancy and child will be possible for me?

Please share any experiences and knowledge!
