Hi Angel

do you know well-known preparations for the treatment of bronchial asthma in

Ayurveda are Chyawanaprash and Agastya Rasayana? The main

ingredient of the chyawanprash is amla, the richest source of

Vitamin C in nature. The peculiarity of this fruit is that its

vitamin content is not lost by exposure to heat as is the case

with other drugs and fruits. Agastya Rasayana is used in cases

of asthma where the patient is constipated; in particularly

emaciated sufferers, however, Chyawanaprash is the better

remedy. Both the drugs can he taken in one teaspoonful doses

thrice a day, preferably before food is ingested. They are

slow-acting remedies but are surer in their effectiveness. In

chronic cases, their effect is evident from the increasing gap

between successive attacks.

heres one more!

1. Most of the known cases of Asthma keep 'inhalers' with them, these are devices which ensure direct delivery of the drugs to the lungs and thereby bringing about a rapid relief.

2. Avoiding known triggers which bring about an attack helps, like avoiding strenuous exercises, going out in the cold, etc.

Hello,
Not sure about homeopathy and ayurveda but I can tell you what worked for my sister in law. She is an obese lady who was using two different types of inhalers (Advair was one but not sure what the other one was). She started taking Himalayan Goji juice..2 ounces in the morning and 2 and night. Within two months, she was not using her inhalers that she had previously been using daily and now doesn't even own them! She had asthma her entire life...her parents even had to relocate to a dryer climate when she was little.

Hope this helps!
