As per my knowledge goes for frozen shoulder Exercises and Stretching are must. Your mom can apply moist heat to the shoulder(this will relife some pain), then perform stretching exercises--this should be done at least three times daily. Moist heat can be applied by using a hot-soaked washcloth on the joint for 10 minutes before stretching. Better take guidance from Physical therapists. Wish your mom get well soon .
Your Mom can go for Physical therapy. As per my knowledge, the best and simplistic treatment is Shoulder Exercise that is 'YOGA'. It can be helpful to prevent her shoulder pain permanently. Now-a-days so many Yoga Cd's are available in the market, through which she can learn. Along with this better consult a Orthopedist.
