Commenting on this, Sharad Raj, Head of Programming and Content, Sahara One, said, "Haunted Nights has managed to grab the attention of the viewers' right from the beginning. The subject of horror and suspense has always caught the fancy of the Indian audience and provides a good base for story- telling. In our new avatar, we aim to further entertain our audience with more horror and spine chilling moments and hope a good response for this show as well."
The theme of 'Haunted Nights - Kaun Hai Woh?' embodies the concept of the battle between good and evil. The story revolves around the lives of two people, Kunal, played by Vishal Gandhi and Bhakti played by Jyotsna Chandola, who are brought together by destiny but have to go through various ordeals till they are united forever.
Kunal belongs to the wealthy Devraj family and is in love with his childhood love, Vishaka (Vrinda Dawda). His grandmother, Bhawaani Maa is the chieftain of the family and a stern believer of dark forces. She manipulates the family to carry out her evil practices and gets Kunal married to innocent Bhakti, to fulfill a specific motive. Kunal is the carrier of Kalka or the Devil and Bhakti is the epitome of goodness and purity. What happens when two people with conflicting energies unite? Will good triumph over evil or will the devil reign supreme?

Sachin portrays a grey shade character in the show Haunted Nights about which he shares, I am Kunal's (Vishal Gandhi) uncle in the show. My character name is Damodar. The whole story in the show revolves around our family as we are the ones who believe in supernatural. My character in the show has a grey shade to it and I am a very self-centered man who believes in supernatural and black magic.
Sachin is very much fascinated with the subject - Supernatural, "I am loving to portray this character. It has been quite some time now that I have started shooting for the same and I am enjoying it. I have been fascinated with this subject of supernatural and getting to play this role is a pleasure."
Sachin likes taking up challenging roles, "I find that every role is difficult but it is upon us on how we mold the character and make it easy for ourself. This role is not something like the regular characters and hence it makes it challenging for me. The fun is always in doing challenging roles. I am looking forward to the show which goes on air today evening."
Sachin is set to enter as a suspense element in the show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon... Ek Baar Phir, "I will be also seen playing a very important role in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon... Ek Baar Phir. Sachin feels that the Production houses of both the shows that he is doing are very co-operative, "I knew that it would be very hectic to shoot for two shows together. In fact initially I found it very difficult too but then I have a superb production houses with which I am working, hence things were much manageable. Both the production houses are managing my timings which is easy going for me right now."
Happy to get the opportunity to play two different characters, "It was this time in between that I was waiting to do some shows onscreen. I am lucky because when I got the opportunity, I got it for two amazing shows. Two different channels and totally different concept. As an actor it is giving me the opportunity to explore more as an actor and show my talent."
Sachin likes playing two different characters, "Both the shows that I am acting in are totally different from each other with a very interesting concept, one is based on supernatural and the other on social family drama. In both the shows I play different characters which I like very much. I am very happy to be a part of these shows."
Nearby sets for his shows is easy on the run for him, "Luckily my one shows set is located in Goregaon and the other one is in Kandivali, which is short distance. Also I reside in Kandivali which makes it much easier for me to travel back home too."
Sachin is a multitasking person who is not only an actor but also a producer for the theatre show Rishton Ka Live Telecast, "I have a team who handles my show. As a producer I am not much required on the shoot, it is my co-operative team which handles the show very well. I just have to look at the marketing side of the play which I am doing as and when I get time. I am very happy that my play Rishton Ka Live Telecast is successful today."
We wish Sachin Parikh all the very best for his two shows that go on air tonight!
Amar Sharma who was last seen in Housewife Hai...Sab Janati Hai on Zee TV as Deva is set to play an important character in Haunted Nights Kaun Hai Woh. The actor is also seen playing a negative character as Madan Singh in Balika Vadhu on Colors.
He will play the role of an investigative officer inHaunted Nights Kaun Hai woh which features Jyotsna Chandola and Vishal Gandhi as protagonists.
In conversation with TellyBuzz, Amar shared about his role in Haunted Nights and also spoke about his encounter with negative role and fans reaction.
Elaborating more about his role in Sahara One's Haunted Nights Amar said, "After portraying various characters in the shows this time I am essaying a role of an Investigative officer named Sudhakar. It is a positive character and our family in the show happens to be quite religious."
When asked about being part of Balika Vadhu and other show, Amar said, "I am doing Balika Vadhu and have not quit the show. It's just that right now my track is not shown in the show, but yes, I am very much a part of Balika Vadhu. Earlier I was essaying the role of Deva in Zee TV's Housewife, which just went off air."
Amar knows the tact of handling positive and negative role very well as he is seen in a negative role in Balika Vadhu and now playing a positive role in Haunted nights, "My role inHaunted Nights is very positive while my role in Balika Vadhu is very negative in nature. I have been getting loads of mixed reviews for my role for the show Balika Vadhu. I remember when I had been to Rajasthan for the shoot there were many elderly people who were my fans and they actually appreciated me for my role. They even said that I am being too harsh, I should be more of liberal and not too orthodox in nature for which I had to explain to them that whatever I am doing is scripted and with no offense I am quite liberal in real life."
Amar also shared few things about his personal life, "I am a very level headed person in nature and quite liberal as well. My wife is a software engineer and I myself am a MBA graduate specialized in Marketing but as acting came my way I took up acting profession. I belong to a middle class family and I wanted to become a singer but that didn't happen and started my career as a theater person and then I bagged the role of Balika Vadhu which was actually very prominent and my claim to fame. Currently I am doing Haunted Nights Kaun hai Woh..."
We asked Amar, after so much of anger and pain that he creates on screen how does his family take it, for which he opined, "Well honestly we actors are lucky in that, as every human being wants to vent out their anger and the best is when they get such roles to portray on screen they get to vent out their anger. So at home I am a very sweet and adjusting person."
"I hope my positive role is appreciated the same way my negative role was appreciated," he concluded.

Monsoon is the season that is loved by all for its nature's beauty that is seen. But well for most of the times it turns out to be annoying too, for the hurdles that it causes in the day to day life of the people, especially the ones who are traveling during the rainy season.
On the same we got in touch with the talented actress Jyotsna Chandolawho will be seen in the showHaunted Nights - Kaun Hai Woh? onSahara One, on how much she likes the Monsoons, the way she likes to spend the monsoon season and much more.
Let's see what Jyotsna has to share with us.
Monsoon for me means:
Always keep smiling and be happy always.
My first thought about monsoon:
Time to get wet.
My most memorable monsoon moment:
This moment is from my school days. It is said that during rainy season we should avoid cold drinks and ice-cream as you easily catch a cold. The same rules were applied to me too by my parents, but I was so naughty and an ice-cream lover that I never used to follow the rules. I used to eat ice-cream during rainy season for which my parents would shout at me.
Precautions I take during monsoon:
There are not many precautions that I take during monsoon but I just see to it that I have proper rainy wears (clothes and sandals).
My monsoon music:
I love Honey Singh's songs. But well if you particularly ask me about monsoon music then it would be the romantic and classic songs like Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaaye...
My monsoon special Khaana:
I love having Chatpata chaat in monsoon.
Places I would like to visit during monsoon:
My hometown Dehradun for sure. No place like Dehradun (smiles).
One thing I don't forget to carry during monsoon:
Umbrellas are a must, but I don't like to carry them as I love to get wet in the rains.
My monsoon mantra:
Enjoy each climate to the fullest.
Monsoon tip for the readers:
Eat hygienic food in monsoons.
Krishma Solanki.

On this auspicious occasion of Krishna's birth which is known as Janmashtami, we got in touch with few of the Gujarati telly celebs to know how do they celebrate this festival and what makes it special for them.
Here is what they have to say...
Sachin Parikh currently seen in Haunted Nights on Sahara One - Not just me but my entire family celebrates Janmashtami. We go to the Haveli (Temple) and celebrate the festival. Also, we do go to watch Saarvajanik Handi Utsav. I like to watch the matki fodo utsav which is a treat to the eyes. But people should take a lot of care while they are involved in this handi utsav, as it entails a lot of risk. When I go back to the memories of my old days, I remember I used to participate in the handi utsav many-a-times and I broke the matki too. The happiness after breaking the handi was just priceless.
