Fanfiction hi read kar sakti ho. Because nobody is creating alternative universe where Harry and Hermione end up together.πŸ˜†

Dan and Emma in another movie is possible but not that.πŸ˜†

Rowling is currently very strongly propagating anti-trans rhetoric. Daniel, Emma, Eddie have all publicly distanced themselves from Rowling.

It's the main reason. Though additionally I don't think either of the two would be eager anyway to join the film. Emma really wanted to quit Harry Potter midway because of the general pressure and how the internet creeps sexualised her. Daniel has also spent years distancing himself from the role as an actor and he was running into trouble around the end of the franchise.

By need I meant nobody asked for it. Not even the fans. They wanted new stories. We already have the movies for the on-screen adaptation, which are not very old. Therefore a Harry Potter reboot is not needed. Maybe after 20, or at least 10 years? Sure! But I guess it was unrealistic to expect that.

I mean the Harry Potter reboot was supposed to be an animated project. And the studio was trying to create a sequel series for the live-action films with the original cast, most likely a Cursed Child adaptation. Though, that didn't work out and they changed the animated TV show to live action.

It's a tough market, Warner Bros is struggling. No way they would have left their biggest franchise sitting cold for so long.

Though, of course you are right. A Harry potter legacy sequel after a big drought would have gone bonkers like The Force Awakens. But the studios would obviously prefer short term returns over long term.

As far as I can remember she compared this to slavery and others made fun of her for that. Now her being black changes this scenario. Would anyone dare to this now πŸ€”

They can’t erase the red heads, Harry is the main character so he has to be white.

Lavender Brown was initially black but as soon as she had to speak they changed her race from black to white.

The SPEW storyline is one of the worst things in the books. So they hopefully completely abandon it. A storyline where a girl is trying to campaign for rights of slaves and is told by everyone to shut it, doesn't even work with a white lead. ☒️

We will have to see who they cast. I think the Disney Percy Jackson reboot will determine how Warner handles casting.
