Mihir will play doctor again

After Cinevistaas' Sanjivani, Mihir Misra will once again don the garb of a doctor. Misra has been chosen to play Rohit- a sincere and committed doctor in B P Singh's forthcoming show Akeyla for Sony.

Looked no further

Yash Patnaik (Supervising Producer of Fireworks) says that Mihir was chosen because he is a combination of charming looks and good acting talent. "We couldn't think of too many names for this role. Once Mihir agreed, we stopped looking beyond him."

Convincing doctor

"Mihir will play Aashka Goradia's (Kinnari) husband. I have seen his work in Sanjivani and Hare Kkaanch Ki Choodiyaan. Plus, he has worked with us in Aahat-2. He will be very convincing as Dr Rohit. I would love to talk about his interesting track in Akeyla, but that would be tantamount to giving the story away," he adds.

Mihir was recently seen in Hare Kkaanch Ki Choodiyaan. HKKC has gone in for a revamp with a leap to a different track altogether, whereby Mihir's character is no longer required much in the show, and hence he opted out.

"Mihir enters Akeyla in the second episode. He starts shooting with us in the next three or four days," concludes Patnaik.
