Snigdha cosies up to Raj
Not for love, but for better photo options at a recently hosted television party

Cupid is known to strike when least expected. So when reel-life romance translates into reality it is looked upon as a professional hazard. When a casual meeting germinates into a romance, it is grist to the gossip-mill. Quite like Snigdha Akolkar (Shyamlee in Hare Kkaanch KiChoodiyan) and Raj Logani's (Ashmit in Ye Meri Life Hai) romance that first started when they bumped into each other at a television pary.
The couple hit it off instantaneously. "The chemistry between Snigdha and Raj was palpable and not missed by anyone," says an eye-witness at the party. "They hit the dance floor and danced with each other non-stop. In fact, they danced in such close proximity that they embarrassed those present. Finally they locked lips in full public view, for everyone to see."

When contacted, Snigdha dismissed Raj as being just a friend. "There is nothing between Raj and me. We were dancing together so that we could give good picture options to the photographers," she says. "So we were not cosying up but posing for the shutterbugs. And frankly, I have no inhibitions about cosying up with him in public. In that respect I am very bindaas. In fact, I noticed photographers taking our pictures, but I was surprised when I did not see them in the publications the next morning."
Logani could not be contacted despite repeated attempts.
