very nicely analyzed, as always :)
Yes, to me Isha is still a child at heart...that child whose childhood was arrested and who was made to grow up too fast lurks within
Neha portrays the child-woman really well -- and the uncertainly...almost like there are aspects of life she isnlt yet able to get her mind or heart around...the only thing she's totally sure of is her need to build her career, and the place that her family has in her life (there too she is clear about where she stands...no illusions...Mahi is dadi kijaanand she knows it and accepts it...but she also knows Mahi should get married first.,and that she wants her family with her when she herself marries...
I too think its too early to tell whether its love from her side (or his for that matter)...could be infatuation, or a friendship that's become comfortable...
Neha's doing a great job of portraying the bravado and bindaas-ness, but also the inner world of hers that peeps out, the innocence and depth which is there, but is still evolving and is keptmasked even to herself...it came out so well when she took her hand out of sahil'sand hesitated outside the temple, how she looked, and what she said, and what she thought...so well done!
