Neil Bhatt excelled in his

career
in the year 2008 by making his debut under the esteemed banner Sagar Arts where he acted as Arslaan (Sony TV), the super hero. Seeing his popularity rise, he was once again roped in by the Sagar Arts group for their next show that aired on Sahara One in 2009, where he played a romantic hero in Joh Ishq Ki Marzi Woh Rab Ki Marzi that later was renamed as Kismat Connection.

He later went on to win over the viewers with shows like 12/24 Karol Bagh (Zee TV), Gulaal (Star Plus), Sabke Jeevan Ka Aadhar - Ramayan (Zee TV) and reality shows like in Channel V's teenage based crime show Gumrah: End of Innocence and Savdhan India @ 11.

So what is the actor up to recently?

In conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Neil mentioned about how he is yet to finalise on something and will notify us as it gets final (as all actors do). But he also mentioned something very interesting about his perception of what shows he wants to be a part of.

Neil said, "Look, the kind of roles I actually want to essay are not a part of the industry trend, so there is no point even talking about it. But for the shows which I will be signing I will always do my best and justify my character. But I am hopeful to find a role which has depth."

Talking on the topic of signing new shows, Neil also mentioned about his angst against the system of ratings. He said, "Earlier, I was completely against the system of TVTs but now I am trying to understand more about it. "

"The only thing is that I do not feel that the system is fool proof. Due to low ratings a show gets pulled off even before it reaches a phase where it can generate high viewership. One cannot even blame the channel as the advertisers pull off from the show. So I feel if there is some alternative worked-out for the advertisers, shows can stay longer and get their due. I mean this was the same problem which I faced with my earlier shows."

"I really hope this doesn't happen with the shows I sign in future," he concluded.

We wish the lad all the luck for his upcoming shows!!!
