Part 3

Engagement day

Guddan and AJ both are getting ready for their engagement. AJ has worn a 3 piece suit while Guddan has a worn a light pink lehenga. She is looking damn gorgeous in that dress. Even AJ is unable to remove his eyes from her.

AJ- Guddan,ek baat kahoon.

Guddan- Boliye na Jindal Saab,aap permission kyun maang rahe Hain.

AJ- You are looking so beautiful today. Can I give you a hug?, pretty please.

Guddan gets shy at his request but agrees to it.

AJ- Thank you Guddan and takes her in a tight hug.

They are in each other's embrace, suddenly a knock on their door and it's none other than Laxmi bahu. Both get back to their senses.

Laxmi- Agar aap logon ka romance khatam ho Gaya ho toh hum andar aa jaayein saasu ma??

Guddan- Arey Laxmi bahu aayiye na aur haan aap jaisa soch rahi hai waisa kuch nahi hai. Hum toh bus tyaar ho rahe the.

Laxmi- Achha theek hai maan lete Hain 😉. Agar aap logon ka tyaar hona ho Gaya ho toh neeche chalein. Dadi aap dono ko bula rahi Hain. Saare mehmaan aa chuke Hain bus kuch hi der mein engagement ceremony start ho jaayegi.

Guddan- Theek hai Laxmi bahu,hum chalte Hain.

AJ- But Guddan mujhe tumse ek zaroori baat karni hai.

Laxmi- Offo AJ,Jo bhi baat karni hai sagai ke baad Kar lijiye na, Saasu ma kaunsa kahin bhaagi ja rahi Hain and saying this she takes Guddan with her downstairs.

AJ(in mind) - Kya yaar,sagai ke baad Tak toh bahut der ho jaayegi. Mujhe yeh baat sagai se pehle Guddan ko kehni hai. Uske baad hi main Guddan ko angoothi pehnaunga. He goes downstairs and starts looking for Guddan.

Guddan is standing with Dadi. Dadi is introducing her to some guests. Akshat sees her goes to her.

AJ(whispering in Guddan's ear)- Mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hai, please Chalo na mere saath and holds her hand.

Guddan- Jindal Saab yeh aap Kya Kar rahe Hain. Sab log Hume hi dekh rahe Hain.

AJ- Dekhte Hain toh dekhte rahe but main tumse bahut important baat karni hai.

Suddenly Dadi interrupts their talk.

Dadi- Kya baat hai Lalla?? Koi pareshani hai Kya.

AJ- Nahi maa,woh main toh bus aise hi. Can I borrow Guddan for 1 minute please. I have an important thing to say to her.

Dadi(in a teasing mood)- Arey Lalla ,ab tum dono bus stage par hi jaoge,uske ilaawa kahin nahi.

AJ- Par maa..

Dadi- Lalla Chalo sagai ka muhurat start ho Gaya hai.

Both are heading towards stage. Every guest is clapping for them.But AJ is lost in his own thoughts.

Dadi gives rings to both of them and ask them to exchange the rings.

AJ- Ek second maa

Dadi- Kya hua Lalla, angoothi pehna na Meri bahu ko .

AJ- Maa angoothi pehnane se pehle main Guddan se kuch kehna chahta Hoon.

Guddan gets excited as she already knows that he desperately wants to propose her.

AJ- Mrs. Guddan Akshat Jindal,agar aapko izaazat ho toh main aapse yeh baat keh sakta hoon.

Guddan (shyly)- Izaazat hai 😳

AJ- So Mrs. Jindal main aapse yeh kehna chahta Hoon ki jabse aap Meri zindagi mein aayi,Meri zindagi poori tarah se Badal gayi hai.Aapki wajah se hi yeh Mr. Perfectionist,ab imperfectionist banne ko bhi tyaar hain. Aapne Meri zindagi ke maayne bilkul Badal diye Hain.Aapse Milne se pehle toh mera Dil sirf ek zinda rehne ka zariye tha par iski Dhadkan bankar aapne use dhadakna sikhaya hai. Aaj Tak yeh Uncle khadoos aur gussail tha but iss AJ ko Akshat banaya hai aapne.Ab jab aapne itne saare badlaav Kar hi diye Hain mujh mein toh jhelna bhi aapko hi padega kyunki ab iss Akshat se aapke Bina jeena nahi ho Paayega. He goes down to his knees and says those three magical words- I love you Guddan. I love you so much much.

(She is just having teary eyes listening all this.)

AJ- So batayiye Mrs. Jindal,aap iss Akshat ko jhelne ke liye tyaar hai. By saying this,he takes out the ring and asks her- Will you be mine for the seven births?? Will you please marry me and make me and my life complete??

Guddan makes him stand on his feet and hugs him tightly.

Guddan- Jindal Saab,jis pal ka intezaar hum itne dino se Kar rahe the, finally woh din aa Gaya. Jo baat sunne ke liye hum itne bechain the aaj woh baat aapne humse keh hi di. Hum aapko Bata nahi sakte ki aaj hum kitna khush Hain.Jindal Saab aap humse jitna pyaar karte Hain,utna hi pyaar hum bhi aapse karte Hain aur aapke Bina jeena bhi iss Guddan se na ho Paayega. I love you Jindal Saab.I love you more than anything else in this world.

Both hug each other again.

Every guest is witnessing their confession and starts clapping for them.

Dadi- Lalla ab toh angoothi pehna de,aur kitna intezaar karwaayega Guddan ko.

AJ- Ji Maa and he puts ring into her finger and kisses her hand.

Guddan also puts ring in AJ's hand.

Everyone claps again and music starts playing .

AJ- Mrs. Guddan Akshat Jindal,may I have the pleasure to dance with you?

Guddan- Yes,Mr. Jindal you have

Both go to the center of the stage and starts dancing. Both are lost in each other. Other couples too join them.

Finally AJ is happy that he has confessed his feelings for Guddan and Guddan too reciprocated to his feelings. He hugged her again without worrying about anything around them.
