Rangeela's insistence on following Veer's orders is annoying. What is he hiding? Why can't he just straight out tell Veer his real reason for not wanting the marriage? 'I don't want to marry an abducted girl' is the most ridiculous response because if he wants to get married, he has to abduct a girl. His Manju Bhabhi was also abducted. No one is going to willingly marry some ghulaam from a backwards and regressive village.

No wonder Veer doesn't believe Rangeela's excuses. Why can't Rangeela admit why he doesn't want to marry Radhika? If he gives Veer a legitimate reason, he won't have to go through with this marriage. Urgh!

@Queenkordeilia..Rangeelas reason is he himself wants to choose and like a girl and both must have mutual feelings..not someone who is forced to marry...Yes staying in Bpur it may not be possible but he thinks may be outside of Bpur..because inside Bpur there is no girl left

U said right ..no one going to willingly marry a ghulam that too an educated city girl...As per his thoughts, he will always remain a ghulam..and follow orders..It will destroy life of his partner because she will also become ghulam...dancing to whims of his master...that was my point also...

Better for him at this stage to remain bramhachari..if he doesnt want to destroy other lives..Manju bhabi's husband is not a ghulam and she was bought..not abducted as such.

@QueenKordeilia - Rangeela is educated and smart guy so he wants to marry a girl whom he likes and also someone who will like him and will willingly accept him (more or less love marriage) !! He has always thought of getting married in this way even though he is brought up in Berehampur !! Tbh, there is nothing wrong in wishing to get married in this way , its just that he should have it within himself to stick to his decisions and make it clear to his Maalik strictly !! I agree he tried but when Veer opposed , he din't insist again, even after seeing Radhika's face He should have tried resisting more and said No strictly

As tota said, why would any girl agree to marry him willingly and enter Berehampur kind of place , that too as a wife of a Ghulaam who abducts girls for marriage, kills people and can't take a decision for himself without his Maalik's consent ?

I know that Rangeela's brother isn't a ghulaam but in one of the episodes they said that Manju was also abducted. The only difference is that they actually accepted each other. That's why Manju can go off to her mayka unlike others.

But yes, how can Rangeela even think of getting married to a girl of his choice? As long as he's a ghulaam, she would never be happy. He really would need consent for everything.

Malik, can I have a child?

Malik, can I NOT have my unborn daughter aborted?

Malik, can I take the day off and look after my ill wife?

And so on. This would be miserable. The girl would have to wait for her husband to ask his malik for everything. And what will he do if some perv visits Beherampur and asks Veer for a woman to spend the night with? Veer's first choice would be his ghulaam's wife. Sadly, I have seen such things (guest demanding a woman to rape) happen in another serial which was about atrocities towards women.

What would Rangeela do? Protect woman's honour or obey malik? He always says he puts women's honour first but also says malik comes first. Which one?

Better that he stays single, TBH

Yes wife swapping is very common in opressed areas..actually the serial is showing a sort of..Rangy handing over his wife to master..in future also it may continue if Rangy remains ghulam
