Because Rangeela name is so untypical and at this point there are so many telly jodi names and more coming.. so I thought it would be good to make use of the Rang in Rangeela which can easily stand out among other names..

wouldnt be better if active fans also suggest jodi names.. i mean ok we all voted here but what about the ppl who dont come here? the official on screen jodi name should be the same right.. because i can see ppl on twitter call them with different names and vm makers call them differently.. how to coordinate?

How do you think we can rule other social media sites? This is an official voting round for only IF. If we use the end jodi name here on IF then many people on other sites would use the same soon after seeing many people using the same name.

And between.. what do you mean by "active fans"? If you are talking about the fans around other sites then we can't say anything to them or ask them to use the name we selected. This will be only official for India-Forums. Every jodi names have been selected on I-F, so does Shivani&Rangeela. :)
