So coming to the topic. When I saw the precap of Veer carrying Shivani as she's tied to the chair, I was like HOLY SH*T! I don't think I've ever seen such a shaadi on indian TV before. The desi Mountain π€£I'm actually quite impressed with today's episode and thought that Rangeela was totally in his character. He does have a conscience somewhere hidden deep inside, but right now that is clouded because of his blind devotion towards Veer and his family. I think this is what is eventually going to be interesting...the journey that will lead to him accepting his inner goodness and standing up for what he believes in.I also liked Shivani...she was fighting for what she believed in..in her own way. Hopefully we'll get to see Shivani's transformation to a strong badass woman . If the makers are able to show Shivani's growth in a way similar to Dany's arc in GOT I'll be mighty impressed (not that I think Shivani will ever fall for Veer the way Dany fell for Drogo but yeah)Veer was his usual self ...ruthless, evil and sexy :PCan I just say that this show has an AMAZING starcast? Vikas, Param, the actress who plays Rashmi, and the rest of the cast is so brilliant. I must say I was not impressed with Niti in her first episode, but today she proved me wrong. That girl can CRY!! and she'll make you feel her pain. I felt so bad for her today. I have a feeling she'll nail her emotional scenes.Ghulaam is far from being perfect, but gotta say that this show is actually hatke and different. All we see on TV is the usual arrogant rich guy and quirky innocent small town girl M&B type stories. This show is a refreshing change from those done to death concepts. Here the protagonist isn't some mahaan self sacrificing bhagwaan and neither is he one of those arrogant rich heroes that we see on indian TV. He's a grey character who will do morally questionable things but that's the whole point. It's his journey of self discovery and I can't wait to see how the story turns out.
