Chapter 4 -
The dimly lit room was thick with tension, the air heavy with unspoken words and raw desire. Maan stood tall, his silhouette outlined against the muted glow of the city lights filtering through the expansive window.
He was a man of power, a force of nature, and tonight that power would manifest in a way that left no room for emotions. Geet, her heart racing, stood at the threshold, a whirlwind of anticipation and uncertainty swirling within her.
The contract they had entered into was clear: this was a relationship built on desire, devoid of emotions. They were bound by the darkness of their circumstances, and yet, here she was, drawn to him like a moth to a flame.
“Come here,” Maan commanded, his voice deep and authoritative, pulling her from her thoughts.
Geet took a hesitant step forward, her pulse quickening as she crossed the distance between them. The room pulsed with a tension that was almost palpable, each breath she took filled with the scent of him - intoxicating, overpowering. As she reached him, he lifted her chin with a finger, his gaze piercing and devoid of warmth.
“Tonight, you’re mine,” he stated, his voice low, sending shivers down her spine. Geet felt a thrill at his words, a rush of adrenaline that coursed through her veins, igniting every nerve ending. Maan’s lips curled into a smirk, a predatory glint in his eyes as he leaned closer. He captured her mouth with his, a fierce kiss that left no room for hesitation. It was a clash of dominance, his lips claiming hers with a hunger that was raw and unfiltered. Geet melted into him, surrendering to his will as he guided her deeper into the room. With a swift motion, he spun her around, pushing her against the wall, pinning her with his body. The kiss deepened, becoming a dance of urgency and need.
Geet gasped as he explored her mouth, his hands roaming her sides, igniting a fire within her. This was what she had signed up for - a night of passion stripped of all emotion, focused solely on the raw desire that burned between them.
His hands found the hem of her blouse, lifting it slowly, deliberately, exposing her skin to the cool air. Maan’s gaze darkened, lust washing over his features as he trailed his fingertips along the curve of her waist.
Geet’s breath hitched, a thrill coursing through her as he continued his exploration with hear breasts, each touch igniting a spark that traveled straight to her core.
“Tell me what you want,” he murmured against her ear, his voice a husky whisper that sent shivers racing down her spine.
“I want you,” Geet breathed, the words escaping her lips before she could think. It was the truth, unfiltered and raw, and in that moment, she surrendered completely to the darkness of their contract.
With a growl of approval, Maan lifted her effortlessly, carrying her to the plush bed that awaited them. He laid her down gently, a stark contrast to the intensity of their kiss moments before. The room was a sanctuary lost in shadows, and within it, they were two souls entwined in a primal dance of desire.
Maan hovered above her, his gaze searching hers for any hint of hesitation. But all he found was a burning longing that matched his own. With a swift movement, he discarded the last barriers between them, revealing her fully to his gaze. Geet felt exposed yet empowered, a rush of exhilaration coursing through her as he stared, his eyes dark with hunger. He claimed her again, his lips traveling down her neck, across her collarbone, igniting a fire within her that threatened to consume them both.
Geet arched into his touch, losing herself in the sensations that flooded her senses. Maan’s hands explored, mapping every curve and contour, each caress igniting her desire further. The night unfolded in a whirlwind of passion and need, their bodies moving in perfect harmony. Maan was a force of nature, relentless and demanding, his every action a testament to the contract they had forged.
Geet surrendered herself completely, lost in the throes of desire, every touch and kiss pulling her deeper into the abyss.
As their bodies entwined, the world outside faded away, leaving only the two of them, bound by a primal connection that transcended the darkness of their arrangement. In that moment, they were not just a contract - they were two beings caught in a tempest of desire, an exploration of the depths of their cravings, leaving emotions for another day.
The night stretched on, a tapestry of pleasure woven from their shared hunger, and as dawn approached, Geet knew they had crossed a threshold from which there was no return.
---
The morning sun was peeking through the heavy curtains when Geet woke up. The cool, crisp air of the early morning was a stark contrast to the warmth she had felt just hours ago, lying in Maan’s arms.
She could still feel the heat of his touch on her skin, the lingering sensation of his kisses, his presence that had filled every corner of the vast room. The memory of their night together was vivid, but now, with the morning light slowly creeping into the room, it felt like a distant dream - a dream that had pulled her in and left her breathless, but one that she knew she couldn’t hold on to.
Geet sat up in bed, her hands brushing against the soft sheets. She could hear the faint hum of the mansion waking up around her, the sounds of servants moving quietly down the hall. But all she could focus on was the hollow feeling that had settled in her chest.
The night had been intense, and for a fleeting moment, she had allowed herself to believe that there was something more between them. But now that the haze of desire had lifted, reality began to settle in.
What had she expected?
It was never supposed to be about emotions or attachment. She had known that from the start. Maan had made it clear from the moment they had entered into this agreement that it would never be about love.
But that didn’t stop her from wishing - hoping - that maybe, just maybe, he felt something for her too.
She stood up and walked over to the window, looking out at the sprawling grounds of the mansion. The garden was bathed in the soft golden light of dawn, and for a moment, Geet felt an overwhelming sense of loneliness wash over her. She had made the choice to be here, to give herself to him, but now she was left with nothing but the weight of what had happened.
Suddenly, she heard the sound of the door opening.
Maan walked into the room, as composed as ever, his expression unreadable. He was dressed in a tailored suit, looking every bit the powerful man he was. His gaze fell on Geet for a moment, and then he looked away, focusing on the papers in his hand.
“Good morning,” he said, his voice as cold and detached as ever.
Geet didn’t respond immediately. She wasn’t sure what to say. The night they had shared felt like a secret between them - one that neither of them was ready to acknowledge.
But Maan was already moving around the room, as if nothing had happened between them. He walked to his desk, placed the papers down, and then glanced over his shoulder at her.
“You don’t have to pretend it didn’t happen,” he said, his tone almost casual. “We both knew what this was.”
Geet’s heart sank. Of course, he would say that. Of course, he would make it sound so simple, so effortless.
“I’m not pretending,” she replied softly, her voice barely audible. “But it’s hard to ignore what happened.”
Maan turned to face her fully now, his eyes narrowing slightly. “Geet, you knew what you were getting into. There’s no need to complicate things.”
She nodded, even though the words stung. “I didn’t think it would be... like this.”
He didn’t answer right away. Instead, he walked over to the bed and sat down, his gaze never leaving hers. “It was just one night. And that’s all it’s going to be.”
The finality in his words cut through her like a blade. It was as if everything they had shared the night before had no meaning...like it was nothing more than a transaction.
But Geet wasn’t so naive. She could feel the difference in the way he looked at her, the way his body had responded to hers. There was something more there...something he wasn’t ready to admit.
“I understand,” she said, turning away from him. She didn’t want to show the vulnerability she felt, didn’t want to expose the weakness in her heart.
Maan stood up and walked toward the door, but before he left, he turned to her one last time. “You’re free to leave whenever you want, Geet. I don’t need to keep you here.”
The words hung in the air like a challenge, but Geet didn’t take the bait. She knew what he was doing....pushing her away, trying to make her feel insignificant. But it wasn’t going to work.
She was already in too deep.
Later that day, Geet found herself walking around the mansion, trying to escape the heavy atmosphere that seemed to follow her everywhere. The servants had gone about their tasks, the house as pristine as ever, but she couldn’t shake the feeling of emptiness that lingered in her chest.
She had started hoping for more...for something real. But now, as she passed through the halls, she could hear Maan’s voice coming from the study. It was a reminder that, for him, she was nothing more than an obligation.
The thought should have hurt more than it did, but somehow, it didn’t. Because deep down, she knew that this wasn’t about his feelings. It was about hers.
She had fallen for him. And that was something he could never give back.

Curious and Captivating Chapter
It almost seem to me like Maan has a soft corner for Geet
though he tried to act as all is normal , just going up to her
and speaking about their night shows he is concern for her
maybe he just don't realize it
Geet on the other hand has fallen in love with Maan
