Maan looked at her and remembered the day his father told him the reality of his marriage. It was not like he was unaware completely before...but because of his fragile health he was only made aware about few important things.

Maan felt anger, betrayal, pain and happiness all together after listening to his father. Aap sach kah rahe hai dad? He asked to assured his heart which always wanted to believe his geet but unable to do so with the all conspiracies created against her.

I am saying truth Maan, in sab mein geet ki koi galati hai, beta...usne Jo kuch bhi kiya un orphanage ke bachcho ke liy Kiya...he further had revealed him about Geet's whole life, what he got to knew from his all sources.

And after knowing all this we have nothing to doubt over her, Jo ladki apni izzat ka itna khyal rakh kar bar mein kaam kar sakti hai, this girl couldn't betray you maan.

There is something definitely fishy here. Said Raj thoughtfully.

If geet isn't wrong then shall we doubt over Amit!? What about the scene I witness in outhouse...what about the things he told me about geet..

I am not sure son, I couldn't expect him doing something hendious like this when he has been living in our home from past few years. But we need to find out the truth, kaun sach hai aur kaun jhut...

If geet is saying truth then Amit definitely lying but why? And what is his motive into doing all this...? Maan asked with frown.

We definitely will find out the root cause of it...and everything. Wait a minute, and Rajveer pulled out his cell, dialing Adi, his assistant.

Yes, adi...you remember the detective who got us every info regarding geet. Ask him to meet me for he got one more job to do for me..

Maan heard his father and after ordering he cut the call giving smile to him.

Now we will know son, kaun jhut bol raha hai aur kaun sach hai..."

They couldn't came to conclusions of this because Amit was trustable person to them..he has been family from few years, their daughter's husband who has been always very friendly obedient son in law to khuranas..he gave no doubt to anyone to raise finger at his character...he played smart keeping himself clean all this while.

After few days,

Both son and father got to know everything from detective they hired. The information shocked them to the core because they hadn't have expected about Amit having dual face.

They verified again and again his all information and only got the same answers.

Maan got up in anger, wanted to kill Amit with his bare hands for keeping bad eye over his wife.

But Rajveer stopped him, Maan don't lose your mind in anger...keep that safe for later to show Amit his place. He has not only back-stab khuranas but most of all trapped geet in his dirty game.

Maan looked at him, and suddenly realized something, I need to go to geet to ask for forgiveness...I hurt her so bad,...bata nahi woh mujhe maaf bhi karegi ya nahi...she was saying truth...but I did not believe her instead blame her with what not...' said Maan with guilt consuming his heart.

Don't Maan...don't go to geet right now...infact behave with her as if nothing changed...don't ask her anything or talk to her. That will make Amit relax and he will do some mistake surely. We have to grab that chance to strike him back.

Maan understood his plan and agreed to act as per his plan. They kept an eye on Amit and even got to know about the drama created by him in outhouse. Maan was boiling in pure rage to think about his intentions regarding geet. But he held himself just to give him sever punishment for hurting his Geet even.

In between this, he was restless and craving to go to her and see her one glimpse. He would go and just stood outside her window, but only one time he caught her glimpse...at that moment standing in the corridor, he got few flashes of the incident took place there few months back. He was so restless and wanted to confront her...sooth himself and her pain with their love but was helpless.... because of him she endured so much still in the end he blamed her.

To keep his act before Geet, he couldn't even push Sam that day when geet spotted both of them together.

The divorce papers taken signed by geet were fake just like their act...it was planned by Rajveer. Maan didn't wanted to push her this much but his father shut him again reminding him about Amit.

He hated everything that moment which was keeping him away from his wife. He couldn't see her tears nor hurtful face. But he kept blank face before her, inside how much he was breaking, he only knew this.

And the day arrived when his informers given him information regarding geet and Amit meeting.

Maan wasn't sure what was it all about...he was unaware about geet and Aryan plan still. But that day in cafe, he witnessed everything from his own eyes...he had hired his man for this work with camera and speaker set in his clothes...the person was included in staff of cafe. So it got easy for maan to watched everything from his own eyes sitting in his Car.

He was mesmerize by Geet's attitude, with her planning and the way of handling everything...but seeing that guy's sinful hands on his wife and list gaze on her, left him burning in pure rage.

As Amit kept on revealing everything, he was losing his cool....in the end he got down of his car and hit his hand hard against the trunk of tree injuring it in the process.

He couldn't believe Amit could stoop this low just for property and money. He not only betrayed them but played with the life of his sister and now playing with geet.

His heart felt heavy with unbound pain and hurt...with no fault of hers he hurt her so much...now how will he undo that...how will he rectify the hurt he had bestow upon her. How would he take back the hurtful words told her...

He was dying out of guilt and unbound pain...he wanted her , only her hear to him at this moment...but his one mistake cost him the separation from his beloved wife.

He vowed to punished the culprit severely for all his dirty games and sat back in his car moving out of the place.

Sir, we reach!!' Maan's trance was broken by drivers voice....

Maan looked at her side, she rested her head on the window and sleeping heavily. It was so unlike her, he knew that she was weak sleeper...he even didn't know when did he got to know this much about her. He smiled on his own thoughts, having hope of making everything right between them again...

He got down first and opened her side of door very slowly, she falls in his arms while he caught her securely. He couldn't feel the heat emitting from her body. It indicates only one thing, she must be having fever...." The thought worried him as he looked down at her, she opened her half eyes while he carried her in his arms again walking towards outhouse.

Mujhe neeche utaro...' she asked him in low voice while he ignored her demand royally as he continued to walked in her holding her in his arms, close to his heart.

Maan..." She was getting angry but couldn't struggle much with her current state.

He acted as if he didn't listen her and continued walking inside, reaching her room upstairs he delicately put her on the bed. She jerked up in sitting position feeling anger surging through her own seeing his change of behavior suddenly.

Don't geet..he stopped her, forcing her to lay back, "tumhe fever hai...you need to rest. Tumhare pass koi dawayi hai for this? He asked concerned already getting up to search her room.

No..."she shouted getting up from bed, 'now go out from my room.." she demanded standing on her feet glaring at her back.

Why should I? You are my wife and this is my wife's room. He spoke in attitude, slowly understanding her behavior... inside he was relieved seeing her reacting to him or else she was looking lost some time before ...seeing her so broken worrying him...now he understood the way to get her reaction...she must pour out her anger on him which was burning her heart...in that way he too will get his punishment from her.

Thinking so, he marched to her, meine tumhe mana kiya tha na, from getting down the bed. He grabbed her shoulder, phir kyon nahi sunti meri baat?

She jerked away his hands from her before spitting at him in anger, 'why should I hear you!? Who are you to me!? No one, Mr. Maan. And the way you are chanting this, 'you are my wife!! It's not the truth now. You seems to always forgetting about our divorce. She scoffed.

Maan with stern expression plastered on his face, just lifted her in his arms, startling her.

He put her back in the bed again before giving her glare, 'you are unwell right now, so don't you dare to move from here unless I say...' and about your question, I am still your husband!! Because the divorce papers you signed wasn't real one..it was fake , it was all act planned by my Dad. So we are still married and you are still my wife! Legally wedded wife!! He pressed those words staring deep into her shock eyes then his eyes moved down to her shivering lips before he state back at her eyes again...

She pushed him away with jerk, WTH!! You...you did this whole drama..." Now she could remember him saying same in the washroom as well.

Yes darling! Just to trap Amit! He approached her cupping her face as he further continued explaining her about everything in detail from their argument in office.

So you knew this...? She was still in trance.

Yes...I got to know everything, even I remember few things from past months and he told he what he remembered, 'geet instantly grabbed his shoulder in concern, 'you remembered the day!? I was never at fault Maan....woh Amit...usne..." She became hyper while her eyes became teary.

Geet..geet...relax..' he cupped her face, tucking her tendrils behind her ear. I know...I trust you honey!!

She stopped and looked at him, ' no you don't trust me...you never did then also...and now ..

I trust you geet...plz forgive me once...I am ready for any punishment you give me for my mistakes but plz believe my words just once."

Her heart went out for him... could she control her heart..no....she couldn't...she could see her own state in him , the same way she was pleading him to believe her ..after their argument in office, she was so hurt and angry after hearing his accusations for her....in that moment she had thought to not forgive him for this.

But today why her resolve was breaking...why she is getting weak at her heart...why she wanted to give him chance...her heart couldn't see him begging to her. She remembered the maan who was unwell and behaving childish...those were days she had so wished to get him cure and see him like real man...strong minded..mature..

And now what happened to her, how she became so cruel to see him pleading...

Geet ....' he broke her trance, I want only one chance.

She went into the past memories hearing him again, she was asking for one chance as well...

That day, he had given her chance...he wanted to move on with her but everything after that follows all because of Amit's dirty game....there was no fault of maan...

His only fault was not to believe her...but how could she expected the trust from him when she was still stranger to him....he was going through inner turmoil everyday fighting to gain his memory with that knowledge of having sudden wife...it's been only few months from his accident and how she expected him to trust complete stranger so suddenly...

So it was so rightful from his side to believe the son in law of their house who has been his sisters husband before even she walked into their lives.. it was rightful from his side to trust him more than his few months only wife whom he never know much ....whom he despise the most. How come he is suddenly harboring feelings for her...she couldn't comprehend this truth and looked at him only to see the bed empty.

Maan had assumed she still have not forgiven him and was upset that's why she looked lost and wasn't ready to talk to him. He had got up to fetch medicine box for to get tabs to reduce her fever.

After few minutes he got it from the drawer and brought that to her. He filled the glass with water for her and handed that to her with tab.

She silently took it without any drama which surprised him. She gulped the tablet with water and put the glass at side. after that he applied little ointment on her cheek...blowing softly there to sooth her pain..she just closed her eyes feeling his care and love..still her heart and mind were all hazy...

You take rest, I am here for the night! Saying so he got up to cover her with blanket...but she stopped him.

Maan...woh...

Do you want to say something?

Yeah...um...I wanted to say, don't come to conclusions about your feelings...it must be your guilt...or you feeling sympathy for..

Her words halted in her mouth when her jerked her closer holding her shoulder, "it's not guilt or sympathy geet, it's love...I know about my feelings.

How are you so sure...!? You hated me Maan...you hate me... remember all theses months...you only dislike my presence?! You were not ready to accept your wife then how come suddenly you started falling for him...it's only attraction and sympathy nothing more.." she spoke harshly not caring about how much hurt her words were implementing on his heart....

Is it Geet!? Then what if I say the same thing regarding you!

What!? What do you want to say!? She became angry.

Yahi ke tumne bhi toh mujhse shadi sirf majburi mein ki thi...you also married me on contract...and I assumed no girl in her right senses will accept the insane man as her husband...no girl would fall in love with her mentally challenged husband....

MAAN...!! Geet shouted in pure rage, as she caught his collar in fist jerking him closer, don't you dare to say anything for my Maan..." She looked like possessed soul, she was badly hurt by his words, tum kya jaano mere maan ke bare mein...you don't know anything....how much innocent he was...how much big hearten he was...he was such pure soul...I couldn't stop falling for me again and again " she became lost while he was stun hearing her, kya mein tumhara Maan nahi hu? His words broke her trance and she lose her hold on his shirt.

He caught her hands before they falls away from him, bolo na geet, kya mein tumhara Maan nahi...I am the same Maan you have fallen in love with then how could you push me away now. He demanded like child.

You are not...you are not remain same...you are not my maan..." She broke into sobs and he engulfed her in his arms.

You hurt me so much maan....why did you say that...why did you uttered those words which I couldn't able to forget...I don't want to hate my maan but tumne mujhe woh bhi sikha diya. Why...Maan....why...." I can never hate you...I can never...."

Then love me geet...and let me love you, he caressed her back kissing away her tears softly, caressing her wet cheek. Let me love you so much that it will wipe away all your pain...let me make you forget the bitter things I said to you...

Let me love you geet....just give me one chance.

No Maan..she came out of his arms, we are not meant to be together... everything has been finished...mein tumhe meri khatir khudko sacrifice karne nahi dungi...you shouldn't sacrifice your happiness for me...all you feel for me is only sympathy...nothing more.

Geet, for god's sake try to understand,!!

But she was beyond understanding now...she couldn't comprehend anything right now and kept on blabbering something to herself.

He became teary seeing her state...what he had done to her...she sacrificed everything for him... the bring him back to life...but he although unintentionally, snatched everything from her...he snatched her happiness....her feelings...her peace giving only unbound pain in return.

Now how will he rectify everything bringing her back to old self...how will he make her believe on his feelings...how will he handle the situation now...foremost, how will he forgive himself now for hurting this pure angel...who lost her senses in bring him back to his senses.

Geet stood still like rock showing no emotions...but he could see her eyes on his hand and her hands fist tightly at side...she so wanted to run to him and scold him badly for his immaturity...

I know little painful...but I want to add little..so tiny bit separation in maneet...the token of punishment for maan...as some readers also want this..if not all... although I like to write only romantic scenes on maneet not separation that's why tinny...to spice up the story and then romance will be more hot....🔥 and it's need of the concept as well...as Maan needed to understand that he couldn't take back what he said in got of anger and misunderstanding....he needed to understand her pov as well.

Now in this update, I think he understood her PoV as well geet too understood his POV...

I don't think Maan's fault is so much...it's only he uttered this bad word for her without thinking...and that cannot be forgotten if this come from your love ones..I too agree with you readers...
