What happened to Sheena? Geet has her picture. So Geet is not the birth mother?
Both of them need to stop the accusations and listen to each other. They are not solving anything.

Sheena was upset she could not give Maan anything. She must have not been able to have a baby. We can see where this is going. Thats why Geet must have had the procedure to have the baby and Maan was upset.
Now it makes sense why Maan was not there to support Geet when she was having the baby. He never agreed to it.
Maan has failed to convince Geet that he can be a good father. Early on he did not care and ignored the child. She can't suddenly believe that Rithan will be in good hands if he leaves with Maan. She has not told him about the boarding school fiasco either.

Geet couldn’t understand what
Sheena said….
Geet: what do you mean? What does he want? Dowry? What he has got is not enough for him? He wants more, how greedy he is? He doesn’t deserve you Sheena, you made the right decision to leave him, just forget him, consider this a bad dream and forget everything
Sheena: but it’s such a beautiful dream, I was living my dream, but I can’t fulfil his dreams
Geet: what does he want? I don’t understand, how could you be happy with such a demanding person?
Sheena: HD, Maan is a gem, it will be a crime if I said anything wrong about him, the problem is that he doesn’t deserve me, he deserves someone better, someone who could give him everything

She started asking Sheena about that, Sheena didn’t have any expectations for an immediate family, but after Naina asked Sheena too started to desire her own children…
Sheena believed that by having Maan’s kid she will become a Khurana in everyway…

Maan was brought up by his aunt Naina and he has no memory of his parents…
Maan never felt the absence of his family, all he knew was that Naina is his mother and family..
He is happy with whatever he had, and after marriage his world is complete, his dream about a family is fulfilled…
But Sheena had a different dream and perspective about a family…
Her family is not complete without a child, she believed that her wedding gets the acknowledgement only after she gives birth to Maan’s child and by that she becomes a part of Maan’s family in the true sense…

Geet also didn’t accept Sheena’s stupid theories, but she had to give in to her little sister’s wishes because Geet loved Sheena so much and believed that Geet is responsible for Sheena’s happiness as her elder sister and family….
Geet heard the whole story patiently…

Sheena: I can’t bear a child HD, I am useless
Geet: don’t talk like that, women are not meant only to bear children, if he thinks so then the problem is with him only and not you
Sheena: you can argue in support of your little sister how much ever you want, but the truth is your sister is incapable of being a mother
Geet: don’t talk rubbish, life is not just about reproduction, if your love is meant for just reproduction then it’s not true love
Sheena: it’s easy to say that, but love doesn’t mean sacrifice, love need not deprive anyone of anything that they have a right to, even the law says so
Geet: so he wants divorce? How dare he? You stay away from that toxic person, he has corrupted your mimd in making you believe that you are useless and has killed your confidence to live, what a demon he is ? He is pathetic
Sheena: no HD, he is the best lover, he deserves all the happiness in this world
Geet: I have heard that love is blind, but I can see that love is cruel, it could even kill you indirectly
Sheena: HD, I just want to see you once before I go
Geet: I too want to see you, I will arrange for your tickets, you first come, we will see what we can do, don’t even think about anything else, do you understand? Whatever it is I need you, I need my little sister, I don’t want to be alone again, do you understand?

Geet informed her friends about Sheena and asked them to take care of her…
Geet’s friends find Sheena and take her with them…
They keep watching her 24*7 and Geet too keeps talking to her constantly…
Geet then arranged the tickets through her friends and Sheena went to Singapore…
Dev assured to help Geet for its his field, he was specializing in infertility and researched in finding the causes and rectifying them….
Dev gave Geet hope for a baby and promised to do everything he could for Geet…
Sheena co-operated with Dev, she took every test and Dev found out about her inabilities…
He had faith to strengthen her uterus and was confident about her having a baby without much risk….
Sheena was ready, but she didn’t want to tell anything about it to Maan for she knew that Maan would never agree for that…
Sheena told Geet that Maan will definitely divorce her if she had another miscarriage and so she wanted to keep it a secret until she successfully delivered the baby…
Sheena had access to Maan’s saved sperms and got it without his knowledge….
Geet insisted that they should inform Maan as it’s his decision to make…
But Sheena pleaded Geet not to tell Maan until they are 100% sure about having the baby .
She said that she didn’t want to give false hopes to Maan once again and put him into more misery after any misfortunes…
But the actual reason was that Sheena knew that Maan would never agree for her to carry another child risking her life…
Maan would rather remain childless instead….
Geet stood by her little sister in all this for the fear of losing her, Geet has no idea about all that happened in India…
Sheena didn’t tell everything about all her miscarriage even to Dev…
Dev found out that she had a chance, and there was always a risk even in any normal pregnancy…
Dev was confident that Sheena could deliver without much danger ..
They were very watchful about the whole process, they carefully monitored every step and it was all good …
After nine months Sheena wanted to have her babay shower with her family …
She first gave the good news to Naina …
Maan got mad when he heard about the pregnancy that too into the last stages….
Maan didn’t even talk to Sheena…
Maan was worried about losing Sheena, he knew the whole risk…
Maan thought that it was all Geet’s idea and blasted Geet for this foolishness…
Geet got to know the whole truth about all the warnings about Sheena’s health only then…
Geet was shocked but helpless….
Geet told Dev about it, Dev re-examined Sheena and the baby, there was very little chances of any danger whatsoever…
Dev told Geet that they were worrying unnecessarily and they should be supporting Sheena instead of scaring her with negative thoughts….
Geet believed in Dev’s capabilities, and they decided to take the baby out by C-section earlier itself …
Naina was informed about the surgery and she came to welcome her grandchild…
Sheena knew that Maan would not come….
Geet was so mad that she wanted to keep the baby and Sheena in Singapore itself…
Maan got the news of the delivery and he boarded the flight to see his wife…
But then Sheena went into a coma for no reason after the surgery unfortunately and she was fighting for her life when Maan arrived…
Maan got enraged and destroyed everything at the hospital and shouted at the staff that he will sue everyone responsible for his wife’s condition…
Later Sheena had a cardiac arrest and left the world….

Geet was always so protective about Sheena that she was quick to judge Maan harshly when anything came up. She had to be more objective.
Sheena's insecurity drove a wedge between her and Maan. She did not tell anyone the whole story. Maan got judged negatively without any fault. The whole thing was sprung on him suddenly. He was never able to mentally prepare.
