In all this, we don't see any shred of care or concern for Geet from Maan. Did he ever care about her?
Dev was the one person who supported Geet. He could not stand up to his family. That was his weakness. But still, he looked after Geet unlike Maan.

Continuing the past….
Geet left her boy at KM but she couldn’t stop worrying about him..
Geet went to Amritsar along with Dev to join his family for the engagement and wedding…
Going back to Geet’s engagement with Dev…
At Amritsar…
Dev takes Geet to his home where the wedding has been planned…
A few relatives have come early to take care of the wedding program…
Dev has a cousin sister Payal…
Payal is very excited to welcome her bhabhi, Geet …

Payal is such a sweet girl… she selects a beautiful pista green lehenga for the engagement and a gorgeous maroon designer one for the wedding…
Then she helps Geet select the accessories too…
Geet couldn’t sleep well as she is worried about the baby…
Geet tries to look happy for the sake of Dev…
Dev knows that she is still worried about the boy only…
Dev can understand her situation for he has been with her all along …
Dev: Geet, don’t worry about the boy, he is in his home with his family, you know very well how much Naina aunty loves him
Geet: l know that Naina maaji will look after him very well, but that’s not enough
Dev: everyone will love him Geet
Geet: but everyone is not family
Dev: are you worried about Sameera?
Geet: I don’t know, I am worried for my boy

The baby is sleeping in the cradle at the OH…

Naina is not seen anywhere at the OH.. neither is Maan there ..
Geet then sees Pammi in the mansion …
Pammi is talking on the phone with one of her sisters…
Pammi: I am so happy that Maan agreed for the marriage, thanks to the baby, there is at least one use of this baby
Geet listens to her carefully… she knows that she is Sameera’s sister and she will be the big influencer for Sameera…
Pammi: after marriage? Are you gone out of your mind? my Sam will definitely have her own kids, our blood should rule the Khurana Khandan, then only I will become the rightful queen mother of KM and our Sam the queen

Pammi: what about the baby? It’s the Maan Singh Khurana’s aulad, don’t forget that

Dev’s parents are not happy seeing the baby at the wedding…
They ask Dev why the baby has come there…
Dev tries to calm them by saying that the baby will stay with them for a few days only…
Geet gets mad after hearing that…
Dev is no one to decide about the how long Geet could have her boy ….
Geet tells them that it’s her boy and will stay with her only…
Dev’s parents are not ready to accept Geet with someone else’s baby…
Dev couldn’t do anything against his parents’ words…
Geet leaves from there breaking her ties with Dev… .
After a few days… .
Geet leaves the boy with some trusted friends and she goes back to KM…
There is a painful silence there…
Naina feels embarassed on seeing Geet…
She feels guilty of loosing the boy…
Geet pretends as if everything is normal…
Geet: maa ji , Yash Kahan hai? Why didn’t you come to my wedding?
Naina: I couldn’t Geet, where is your husband?
Geet: he has gone back to Singapore for he has some urgent work, I came to see Yash and say goodbye to him before going back to Singapore, where is my boy?
Naina breaks down…
Naina: Yash nahi hai
Geet: kya?
Niana: we lost him Geet , someone took our baby, Maan has gone in search of him
Geet cries out loud…
Geet: what? It can’t be, how could this happen? Where did you leave him? What was Maan doing? Did he even come to see him? Did he even know about Yash coming to KM?
Naina: Maan didn’t even get a chance to see him Geet
Maan had gone on one of his off the road hiking escape tours … Maan had no information about Geet coming to KM to leave the boy… only Naina has contacts with Geet…
Maan had left before Geet told Naina about her arrival date…
Maan had not given his contact no or any other details about his tour and neither does he use his mobile in that time…
Naina feels solely responsible for everything and she apologizes to Geet just like she apologized to Maan…
Geet: I knew it, Maan hasn’t changed a bit, does he even care that Yash has gone missing? I don’t think so
Naina: no Geet, Maan is not like that, he got really upset after hearing the news, he fired everyone and even Pammi has gone to her sister’s place in fear
Geet: maa ji, lets go to the police
Naina: Maan has already complained bete, they wanted to inquire you, I only asked them not to disturb you during the wedding time
Geet: you should have told me maa ji
Naina: I thought you would cancel the wedding if you got the news
Geet: I don’t care about the wedding or anything else

She goes with the searching team to many places misleading them to different places…
They even suspect Dev.. .
But Geet tells them that Dev has nothing to do with the baby, he was busy in their wedding and she herself was with him…
She shows them the engagement photos and the wedding dress rehearsal pics that Payal took…
Even Naina tells them that Dev is the last person to think about anything bad for the baby…
Naina knows about how Dev took care of the baby like a true friend of Geet…
Many a times Dev responded to Naina’s calls when Geet was tired and asleep…
Maan is also looking for the boy in and around Delhi…
Maan comes back dejected…
Geet goes to see him…
Geet: are you happy now? Who are you going to blame now? Now you are responsible for all this, bring back my baby, where is he? What did you do with him? Why are you silent now? What happened Mr. Maan Singh Khurana? How is it possible that MSK made a mistake? Noooo, he hasn’t, it’s all other’s fault, haina?
Maan is already upset about losing the boy ..
Maan loses control over his anger… .
Maan slaps Geet…
Maan: just shut up Geeeeet
Naina slaps Maan back…
Naina: Maan, is this the boy I raised? I am ashamed of myself, apologize to Geet, now
Maan: did you hear what she said?

Geet: warna kya? I am not afraid of your faltu attitude Mr.Maan Singh Khurana

Naina begs Geet to leave…

so even though Geet left Rithan/Yash at KM she cannot help but think about him
she left to KM
Gosh she kidnapped her own son and blames Maan

Of course it was tough for Geet to leave the baby and live her life. A mother's heart can not be at peace.
After hearing Pammi, which mother would still leave her child there? To be sent away to a boarding school and kept away from the family.
Geet sure fooled them all. She pretended right along and helped the police look for the kid.
