"Hey aavo aavo mhare gaam, sabko pyaro mharo dham,

Yaad rakhiyo mero naam, mhare ghar angana na bhulo na,

Hey mhare ghar angana na bhulo na.."

I grew up with this song seen with pride, as the one that provided dignity to the women in even the littlest of villages, who came together to provide nutrition for every child in India. They finally got respect in the eyes of society for all their hardwork and determination in fighting all the odds and earning their livelihoods in this manner. This song is for every woman who participated in this movement and made Amul, truly the Taste of India ๐Ÿซก Saluting Face Emoji

Just sharing this as an interesting addition:

Remember the popular song 'Mero gaam Katha parey...' the title song of national award winning film 'Manthan', which told the story of Amul model of co-operatives. Now, 35 years later, the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) that markets brand Amul, has recreated the magic of Manthan with a new music video which shows Bharat catching up with India. The Manthan music has an unique emotional appeal, it shows because of the efforts of a rural milk producer that nutritional requirements of urban consumers is also now taken care off.

I did a research paper about women entrepreneurship during my studies, wherein I met some of these women personally, and it was so endearing to see how such cooperatives have really given them so much to live for. They now have their own distinct identity, they are able to provide for their families and children, and that just means everything to them ๐Ÿฅบ

Their stories of resilience just motivate us to keep striving to make our society better too! ๐Ÿ™

Wish the ๐Ÿ”ฅof hope never dies, and someday everyone gets to live a life of dignity ๐Ÿ™Œ
