This was in my list in Q2 R4. I was hoping people would listen to it, if they hadn't already.

Idk about Lata getting her version included, haven't heard anything so can't confirm or deny it. Though I have heard that MDs would make her sing to the same pitch as the male singers because of the octaves she could scale effortlessly. She would often complain about it - especially SJ and Salil Chowdhary

I wanted to include this song in the 'fun' song list in R5 but couldn't because this movie came out in 1970. Such a fun song. The lyrics are credited to Qamar Jalalabadi but I feel pretty sure Kishoreda must have made some contributionv😆
