Thank you for the receips, I am looking for one.
no problem! which recipe r u looking for?
thanx a lot for these eggless receipes
500 g flour
300g caster sugar
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
300ml water
2 tbsp distilled white vinegar
125ml vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 170C/325F/gas mark 3. Put the wet ingredients in one bowl and sift the dry into another. Slowly add the wet to the dry, and beat: the consistency should be like runny honey. Pour into a greased cake tin (or tins) and bake for 20 minutes, until springy to the touch. Add any topping you like .
You can add some lemon peel to the recipe and then once the cake is done but quite warm, mix some icing sugar with lemon juice and that will make a delicious lemon cake.
Hope you and your grandma enjoy it. Please do let me know how it turns out.
