Ingredients
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tbsp vanilla essence
8 tbsp. milk
6 cups vanilla ice cream
Method
Cook sugar and water in a pan over low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Increase heat to high and bring to boil. Place cocoa powder and vanilla essence in a small bowl. Gradually whisk in sugar syrup. Return mixture to the same pan. Bring to boil, whisking constantly, simmer for one minute. Pour into a bowl , cover and keep aside to cool completely. Chill at least one hour , until cold.
Place six tablespoons chocolate syrup, four tablespoon milk and three cups ice cream into blender and blend until smooth.Pour into two glasses.Repeat with the remaining syrup, milk and ice cream.
