I would suggest going to Reddit.com/r/loseit -- they are a very supportive community.

Here is my thoughts:

When you lose weight, you need a few things:

1) Time

2) Dedication

3) Motivation

4) New food

5) Good food

6) Special cheat food

7) An app to track it all.

I think one of the greatest reasons why people quit losing weight is because a) they lose momentum (things start to feel boring) and b) the food choices suck.

My preferred way of losing weight is called CICO, which means Calories In, Calories Out. What this means is your body, on a daily basis, burns a certain number of calories depending on your activity level, weight, etc. When you eat food, you add a certain number of calories. In a very basic sense, if you eat more calories than your body burns, you gain weight. And if you burn more calories than you eat, you lose weight. Pretty simple, except that's not always the case because our bodies are weird and like to do weird stuff to annoy us.

The first two on the list is pretty obvious. You need to have time to lose weight and you need to have the dedication to do so. You can't do anything without these two.

Motivation is a big one on the list. You're going to burn out quickly. Things are going to look like a struggle, one or two days of not working out will make you not want to continue working out, and so on so forth. Maybe you don't think you're making progress, so you think doing this is worthless, etc. If you ever need a motivation buddy, I'm always here for you. You can PM me on IM or we can become friends on fitness app or something, and kind of motivate each other. I'd also recommend reddit.com/r/loseit. As I said above, they are an absolutely awesome community who are there to keep pushing you with enthusiastic positivity.

New food. Only if you eat a lot of fried/junk food. If you eat typical Indian meals, I think you wouldn't have to change too much (I still eat Gujju thali most days). But you'll want to look into changing your meal plans if your calorie count is too high.

Good food. New food is good, but new food can get old really quickly. I used to love making salads. I would make one each morning, throw in some seasoning, make it spicy, and it was awesome. Now, I don't like it. I stopped eating salads (also I'm too lazy to go grocery shopping). But try new recipes and creations, keep yourself in the game by trying new things (if you're like me and get tired of food pretty quickly).

Special Cheat Food. Another way to lose interest in food is when you think you have to give up everything. Nope. You can enjoy your tasty delicious cake, as long as it's in proper portions. Some people have different methods of doing this.

For example, let's say a piece of cake has 600 calories. You can reward yourself by burning an extra 600 calories (by going for a walk one evening or something... or spending an extra hour at the gym). Sure, your net is 0 calories, but you're earning a reward that doesn't make it feel like you can't eat everything you once loved.

Others eat their cheat food regularly, but in portion. Let's say a piece of cake is 600 calories. A person will divide it in half, so 300 calories on day 1 and 300 calories on day 2, while adjusting in other places as well.

So don't give up the food you love, use it to reward yourself for your dedication.

App. I used MyFitnessPro when I lost weight, and then I got tired of it. It helps, but with home-cooked desi food, it's really hard to measure (not to mention time-consuming) and at times, you're led into believing you're losing more calories than you actually did. I stopped using it. My habits have been to minimize my portions, eat more frequently (to increase my metabolism), and exercise in the morning. I also minimized eating outside food, junk food, fried food, etc. I lost about 30 pounds in 3-4 months.

The one thing I will caution you on is that it's extremely easy to lose track and regain your weight. It's much easier to gain weight than to lose it, so once you've started, please try to keep chugging through.

There are other forms of dieting out there, but I'm not too familiar with them to give you advice on them, like Ke - to-dieting for example. [[IF thinks K.e.t o is a bad word]

I wish you the very best on your weight loss journey, and if you ever need that extra motivation, feel free to PM me on IF or we can become friends on some fitness app thing or something.

Also, congratulations on getting married! :D

Try the chicken diet.

eat foods like a chicken salad

omlette, apples with a side of peanut butter

carrots and ranch

bro and dad lost 25 pounds on the chicken diet and then do cardio at the gym run a 1 or 2 miles on the treadmill or cross-fit

To loose weight

Do not eat saturated fat, eat less protein as protein help in gaining weight so eat less protein and eat fruit ( except banana) and green vegetable as green vegetable and fruit help in loosing weight but at same time u will not loose basic nutrition

And also don't eat thick gravy food. Eat thin gravy food and do some physical exercise .. ( that physical exercise which make u sit and stand again and again and climb stairs by foot.( not to use lift unless it is very necessary)and do also yoga

And ur weight should be according to ur height. I would prefer go to dietician and ask what should be ur weight according to height

Whenever u feel hungry, try dark chocolates. Might be this can help you. Once my friend told me, She did exercise and whenever she is hungry, she eats dark chocolate cake or chocolates to reduce her hunger.

I am not sure but you can try once.
