This movie was not marketed as anything more than a masala entertainer, and entertains it definitely does!!!!!

Akshay enthralls with his stunts and comic timing
Bebo enchants with her beauty (my god, she has never looked this gorgeousss, especially in the CHaliya and Dil Haara songs!!!!!) and spontaneity
Saif is adorable with his comic timing
Anil is wonderful, but does get monotonous in the end

Yes, the movie could have been slightly shorter (that Falak song was not required!), but it was a 'watch it, enjoy it and forget it' kind of film, which I LOVED!

Overall, the movie was a FUN TIMEPASS, and definitely deserves to be watched once in the theatre! 👏

All I want to say to the director is that public pe thoda toh rehem karo yaar 😡😡😡. itni bakwaaas movie kaise bana sakte hain yeh log 🤢🤢🤢

I am confused guys...I was really waiting 4 dis movie...and now seems like all ppl are finding it a wastage of time!!

i agree the movie wasn't as expected i had high hopes since i have been following its promos from the start the director has not used his resources well the story line was abstract no sense at all akshay was good kareena was good but i saw a flinch of jab we met's character in her when i saw the start .......... saif could have looked so damn hot but he was wasted as well and the most irritaing anil kapoor his accent and diction i couldnt make up half of his dialouges usally we have to be afraid of the villian here i was laughing at it.... a very bad movie imagine that too from a yash raj banner with big names people can write and direct their own movies look at imitiaz ali the director of jab we met he did such a brilliant job i never get tired of watching it and tashan i was bored half the way i liked the songs diol dance maare was crap... i have loved the vocals of falak tak but the video was not mesmerizing the director has definetly not given his full to this movie.........he needs to take some direction classes and yrf have to see everything before they hype their final product now they are doing silly publicity gimmicks like putting tashan stickers on tiffin dabans imean how pathetic how can you spoil a veterans name they should see some background before they give the hold of director to somebody//......'
the most distubing movie and that too after all the expectations.... i even herad it has problems with multiplexes...

he had such good talents directors would die for saif and akshay and kareena and anil in the same movie besides this was supposed to be the comeback of the dup akshay and saif together in a film the director has ruined everyting yash raj shoould ban him let im learn direction first make small budget succesfu;l films and then go to huige star cast.. i hate such people just because u r the son of a biggie u ll do whatever utter rubbish.... i am so mad i had to remove all my frustration here

My Review

I started of with an expectation that yup it aint make no sense but will be a good time pass movie .
Enter Saif ali Khan as a call center employee , ok looked colourful and fun but the expectation ended there , there was nothing more to his role 😕 neither was he funny in any way nor was he interesting , I wonder how did he agree to do the movie . Money is everything I guess 😈

Enter Kareena , her role had nothing in the movie except style so maybe all te while she was just doing justice to the title with an empty script .

Enter Anil Kapoor , when I like him when it comes to comedy , and he was good this time too , but common what a dingy looking house he stays in . It always dark around and you have nothing to look around but stare at anil n saif ! 🤢
Atleast his role was slightly funny . The 2 assistants he had , uhmmm where they really needed 🤔

Enter Akhsay , I really loved the scooter scene and thought ok so now the movie start and its gonna be funny . Maybe I jumped a littl too much , the scene on the stage was no only zero funny but almost took my patience out !!! 😡

Well I dont want to speak about the scene after that it was the most crapiest pieces put together !!

My 2 cents for all those curious ! Rather not watch it and stay happy or watch it and waste your time , money n patience . 👎🏼

I just wish people with so much money as in the producers n directors of the film may as well give money to charity than wasting it on locations, sets , actors , costumes , cars etc of such a worthless movie 😡 😡 !!

looks like Tashan doesn't go well with the audience. I was thinking to watch the movie in the theatre but ppl reviews abt Tashan made me think. hmmmm I shouldn't waste money 😆 . Forget abt it...will watch on the Internet

Ok so I saw it...

First the good things...very few though...
Kareena looked fabulous. She actually looked hot! And this coming from someone who does not like her one bit. Kareena and Saif looked great...Akshay was good in his role. Anil K as always does best of what he is given (but I couldn't udnerstand what he was saying though which was really annoying!)

The cinemtography is very stylish. The use of turquoise blue and yellow is prominent throughout the movie which goes well with the blue skies and blue waters of Greece. If not the skies or the water, then the clothes are blue or yellow. But it looked good.

Falak Tak and Dil Haara are well made songs. Chaliya was good too.

That's all.

Now the concept of Tashan was simple...I think I know what the director was upto. He wanted to make a movie with all those illogical things that happened in the 80s with style. A formula revenge story with all the cliches of the 70/80s-
a bizarre villain, a revengeful hero/heroine with a lost/found childhood love story thrown in so that songs can be shown, songs coming out of nowhere (Kareena is in Haridwar but she wears a bikini and dances in the beaches of Greece!) scenes where heroes get shot at but never get a bullet, they fight 100 ppl at a time and still come out without a scratch, the famous "bachao" scene involving the heroine and hero running to the rescue, a final climax fight scene in the villain's den, hero tied and being tortured and lots of dhishum dhishum with 1000 ppl...

The problem is you can't make a movie with this concept without a strong story and a script. Even in the 70/80s, with all those illogical things, ppl still watched them coz there was a strong story as well. Besides, that was the 70/80s. This is the 21st century. It doesn't work anymore!

Recommended: Well sure...timepass...beautiful Greece...Kareena in a bikini...nice songs...but only if you have plenty of time to waste.

I watched Tashan last night and to tell you the truth it put me to sleep 😆 it was that boring 😡 a just didnt understand the movie at all 😕
