Preview: Humko Deewana Kar Gaye

What happens when you fall in love with someone who is completely unknown to you? A person who is a complete stranger. A person with whom you don't stand a chance to get married.
A person who is already engaged to someone else!

It would require you to reach the limits of 'deewangee' to get into such an affair where everything seems to be against you....against the norm.

The same happened with Aditya [Akshay Kumar] and Jia [Katrina Kaif]. Both belonged to different strata of society. Aditya was a middle class man who worked in a leading car company as an automobile engineer and a test driver. Jia was a simple girl of a billionaire father, Yashwardhan Birla.

For Aditya, cars were everything and he was extremely passionate about them. For Jia, love mattered most with all her wealth being secondary.

Aditya was engaged to Sonia [Bipasha Basu]. Jia was engaged to Karan Raichand [Salman Khan].

And then the two met!

Both Aditya and Jia belonged to a totally different world but they missed one common thing from their respective fiances - time for love!

Sonia was herself an upcoming fashion designer and had an ambitious outlook towards life. She wanted to reach the top by all means while Aditya was simple and straightforward in his living. This resulted in constant clashes in ideologies.

On the other hand, Karan himself was a business tycoon and could never find much time for Jia.

In the middle of all this, marriages of both Aditya and Jia got fixed.

Destiny brings Aditya, Sonia and Jia to such a corner they each of them is required to travel abroad. Aditya has to go to Canada to learn about a new car model; Sonia has to visit Paris for a fashion show while Jia too decides to go to Canada to shop for her wedding - all alone!

Aditya and Jia happen to meet a few times in Canada and a mere acquaintance soon takes the meaning of friendship. A friendship that made the two open their hearts and confide in each other.

But destiny again had its own plans for the two. Because soon the two find themselves in such a situation when they both can't help but spend intimate moments together and fall in love with each other. And when sparks flew, the two forgot that they had someone else in life with whom they had committed to spend the rest of their lives!

As luck would have it, Jia has a change of heart as she got into a misunderstanding with Aditya. Also she woke up to the fact that Karan was waiting for him. She breaks away with Aditya who himself goes back to his first love Sonia to get married.

But this is not where the story ends. There is a twist in the tale as Aditya and Jia come face to face yet again - this time at Jia's marriage!

Will the two get 'deewana' once again? Will the sparks fly again? Will the two rush back to each other arms while Karan and Sonia see their love going away right in front of their eyes?

Directed by Raj Kanwar, the film also stars Bhagyashree in a special appearance [as Akshay Kumar's sister] while Anu Malik composes. The film is gearing up for an April release.
