Excerpts from the Interview:
'Aaja Aaja' is creating ripples and so is Udita in it!
I'm also getting lots of positive feedbacks about it. The popularity is such enormous that we're currently shooting its remix video. This video is also very groovy. I've already shot for two videos and I appear in the other two too but don't do much there. As I'm gyrating to them I'm also enjoying the songs.
Music videos seem to be your hot spot. Don't you fear being tagged?
Truly I don't have any qualms about it. I like to do what I enjoy. I have recently done DJ Suketu's 'Kya Khoob lagti Ho' and it was such fun. Featuring in a remix is itself a fun filled idea. There are no fixed rules there. You're free to do things on your will without bothering about anything.
So which is your best pick from 'Aksar'?
I would say all of them! The album has six situational songs and all of them are great.
It's a suspense thriller involving me, Emraan and Dino. This is my next film after Zeher. I was in search of a good story after my debut and I opted for this. This is the only film I signed since then. The film is indeed very interesting and you don't need to believe my words. You can check that out yourself. The film is based on mind game between these three people. It is an edgy thriller, murder mystery and also a romantic one.
What is your character in the film?
I'm a model turned actress who makes fashion photographer played by Emraan go wild about her. The character is a reality as I'm one in real life. But she is very fascinating and a snob. She is some sort of eccentric and seeks only the best for herself. This is a glamorous role. I haven't played any such character before. Apart from this I can't give you any further details.
How much did you enjoy working with Emraan again?
I enjoyed working very much with the whole team of the film. Teaming up with Emraan was also great. After working with him in my first film we share a better understanding. Her is very dedicated towards his work and in reality is a quiet sort of person.
And are there any hot scenes with him?
There are but those are only on the requirement of the script. Personally I'm not comfortable doing bold and intimate scenes.
He is very funny and I was comfortable working with him. He is a prankster making faces and all that sort of things.
How did the equation with Anant Mahadevan go?
Anant Mahadevan is an actor and so he understands an actor very well. I liked him as a director.
What's next?
I've two comedies in hand. I have Amar Joshi Shaheed Hogaya with Suniel Shetty and Om Puri and another film called Kisse Pyaar Karoon. I'll continue doing good films.
