The institution of marriage is the most celebrated institution across globe. It is considered to be unshakable and undeterred even if a volcano of problems erupts. One hears about live-in relationships, divorces, broken marriages, child living with a single parent - but still such cases form a negligible part of the society that still believes that marriages are there to stay.

Because every marriage is tied by one single thread - 'Unns'.

'Unns' that stands for love, affection, passion.

'Unns' that was supposed to be the tying string in the lives of Rahul [Sanjay Kapoor] and Ria [Rituparna Sengupta].

Narrated by Natasha [Juhi Babbar], 'Unns' tells the tale of two individuals who were married to each other but boasted of only one-sided love. The love of Rahul for his wife Ria.

Rahul was successful, Ria was beautiful. Rahul was THE ideal man anyone would have wanted but Ria still wasn't happy with this relationship. Why? Because Ria had still not been able to come of her relationship with her first love - Rishi [Sudhanshu Pandey].

Rishi was a successful advertising tycoon who was once in love with Ria but had hidden a secret from her. And when this very secret unveiled, it led to the separation of Rishi and Ria. Crestfallen, Ria decided to get married that resulted in Rahul being her husband. But soon she was unhappy again. Her life was in a turmoil because neither could she forget Rishi nor was she able to give Rahul all the love that he deserved in return for his love and affection towards Ria.

Feeling guilt conscious she was always in lookout for arguments with Rahul so that he could despise her and start loving her less. But Rahul was one man who wanted this marriage to work in howsoever adverse circumstances. Since he himself belonged to a broken family, he was a firm believer of two people living together forever.

Ria approaches Sameer [Aman Verma], boyfriend of her friend Natasha, to help her end this marriage. As a true professional, Sameer agrees to take her case while as a true friend Natasha is against this decision of Ria of Sameer.

On one side are Ria and Sameer who want to take this case to a logical end while on the other there are Rahul and Natasha who would do everything in order to save it! And not to forget, Rishi too has a major role to play in this conflict of love and emotional disturbance.

Who would win in the end?

Rahul's conviction towards his love or Ria's attachment to her past? Natasha's friendship for her friend or Sameer's loyalty to his profession?

Would there be 'Unns' again in everyone's life?

Produced and directed by Bhupendra Gupta, 'Unns' also stars Raj Babbar and Sushant Singh and is expected to release this March
