Celeb parents on the joy of having kids and bringing them up.
"Motherhood is the best thing to have happened to me. Every time I look at my daughter Rasha I feel everything I did earlier for my career or my life was a waste of time. Believe me, no experience compares with this."
Raveena Tandon isn't the only film person to have discovered parenthood in a big way. Bollywood is suddenly on a baby-boom trip. "Everyone we know is either having or planning a baby," laughs Raveena. "I guess it's the mood of the moment."
Madhavan agrees. His son Vedant was born two months ago. "I've become a slave to that little fellow. I can't imagine a time now when he wasn't there. It's as though my wife Sarita and I didn't exist before Vedant was born."
Karisma Kapoor's Samaira is not just the apple of her eye. I'ts the main reason why she chose to mend her broken marriage. "To my sister, Samaira is everything! And the only reason why I'd want to get married is to have my own baby," says Kareena Kapoor.
Adds Preity Zinta, "I'd love to have babies. In fact, that seems to be the main incentive to marry whenever I do."
