Well, I shall be trollish by saying I didn't like the movie! 8D *is bricked*
Seriously, I found the whole movie boring and overrated. I felt a lot of the humor was forced (yeah, the parody with that one blonde chick and Indian-turn-Austrailian included). Also, I couldn't find myself caring for the characters at all. The songs weren't too bad, but you don't watch a movie solely for songs, now do you? Before I go on wanking this topic (or seeming like an elitist), I'll go ahead and stop here. [S]Feel free to spork me. X3[/s]
Overall, Salaam Namaste seems more like a movie for young adults. I'm a bit younger than the demography, and I know quite a few people older than the targeted audience who didn't fancy the movie either. I'm not saying "ZOMG SD WAS DA WORST PIECE OF SHYTES I'VE EVA SEEN!!!11eleven!!" but it was something I really didn't like. Maybe I didn't like it since I'm not part of the target audience, but.. meh.
EDIT: Awww, the <strike> code doesn't seem to work on the forum... D:
totally agree. as i said before, nothin new in the story. i just love saif n preity, so i watched it and coz of the extremely great promos. n yea, i think i am pretty much the targeted audience. but, the movie should have somethin more than good songs -- most of it was a real bore! 🤢 n yea, the laughs -- most of em -- were really forced...
