Nakul Sahdev asked to leave MTV Fanaah; Yuvraj Thakur to replace

Actor Nakul Sahdev played the most fearful immortal, Anshuman to the T' in the popular vampire series, MTV Fanaah. However, the actor will now be replaced by handsome hunk Yuvraj Thakur.

Yes, Yuvraj who has done shows like Humse Hai Liife, Best Friends Forever?, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain will now don the role of Anshuman.

But why this development, especially when Nakul has been performing well?

Aah, that's because Nakul incidentally took up an episodic role on Bindass' Yeh Hai Aashiqui, a show that comes as a direct competition to MTV Fanaah. For the uninitiated, Nakul will be seen along with Kaizeen Daruvalla in an episodic of Yeh Hai Aashiqui (BBC Worldwide Productions) on Disney Bindass which will be aired this week.

Confirming the same, Vikas Gupta, Programming Head, MTV said, "Yes, Nakul has been replaced in MTV Fanaah by Yuvraj Thakur. He was a good performer, no doubt. But we had to replace him owing to our company policies. He recently took up an episodic role in a show that is regarded as direct competition to our show. So we had to replace him."

We called Nakul to get his side of the story, but the actor chose to to talk as he said, "I do not want to comment on this matter at all. You can get information from the channel or production house. All I can say is that whatever happened is for good."

We tried to buzz the actor stepping in, Yuvraj but he remained unavailable for comment.
