Concept:

It's Cinderella, AK style...in reverse! Starring Angad as Mr. Cinderella and Kripa as Princess Charming...how will the sparks fly when they meet at a ball on Valentines day? Will they become Valentines? 😳

Part one:

Ek ladka tha anjana sa,
Ek ladki pe who marthi tha,
Na naam na shaakal, ek ajaane ko dil mei raktha tha,
Paagal tha who, jo pyar se pyar karta tha…

Woh ladka tha Angad, Angad Khanna. A dashing young man of 23 years. A poet by night, a goldsmith by day.

"An-gad! Sewer (pig) ke bache! Kitni baar awaz de chuka hoon, yeh barthan kon doye ga?!"

"Agar mei sewer ka bacha hoon, tho iska matlab aap sewer huye na?" Angad muttered under his breath.

"KYA KAHA?"

"Kuch nahi Pitaji, abhi aya." He packed away the necklace he was working on and left for the kitchen.

Angad had almost finished the dishes when his brother came into the kitchen. Kartik grabbed two burfi (a type of sweet) in each hand and stuffed his mouth. He was an accomplished young fellow, he has managed two double chins already in his short life of 25 years.

"Angad!" he boomed. "Meri girlfriend ki necklace tayyar hei?"

"Kartik, I am almost finished, Pitaji ne yeh kaam mujhe de diya tho abhi finish nahi kar paya. Abhi kar doonga."

"Kya?!" exclaimed Kartik. "Valentines Day is tomorrow! Aur Mishti ki necklace ready nahi huyi?!"

"Why don't you try getting her a rose? I'm sure she will like it." Suggested Angad.

"A rose? What kind of a girl like a rose! If she leaves me is all your fault you *******!"

"A type of girl who loves you and not your money" thought Angad calmly as Kartik fumed out of the room.

This was Angad's life, dominated by his step-father and step-brother. A few years after the death of his father, his mother had remarried as she was in ill health. She did not want Angad to be a orphan after her death. P. K. Natwarlal (Angad's current stepfather), a widow himself, had married Anagd's mom with an eye on her late husband's flourishing jewelry business and fortune.

P.K Natwarlal and his son Kartik's entrance into the Khanna household was the beginning of a nightmare for Angad. He became a slave in his own house. Even though he should technically be the owner of the company, they made him work as a laborer. The once respected Khanna name was buried under the name of the greedy, sneaky, ill-mannered Natwarlals.

Angad sighed as he finally retired to his room late in night, tired after finishing all his chores. "Valentines Day," he thought, " Kaash mera bhi koi pyar karne wala hota. Jiske pyari muskurahat se mera din shuru hota. Jis ke baalon mei rose laga ke uske Good morning kehta Valentines Day par."

He took out his diary and penned the thoughts of his heart,


Kyon yeh dil machale tha hei,
Kisi ko pyarr karne ka jee karta hei,

Hein khayaloin ki rajkumari jo,
Jaane kab zameen par utarti hei

Jiske kaadmoin ki ahaat ki pechaan nahi,
Use abhi se yeh dil swikar karta hei,

Pagal hei yeh dil,
Jo ek ajaani pe marta hei

He fell asleep with a smile on his face dreaming of his Rajkumari…
