Coming coming

**************************

One down, one to go. I guess, I am being forced by Choti into being a "glass half full" kind of person. Or else, I am not even sure how I can handle all that fist clenching intensity coming out of those magical words put in a very articulate sequential order. I am sure that with a few oranges in my hand, that glass would have been half full in no time.

One thing is for certain, of all the things Arshi are holding back, passion and intensity are definitely not amongst them. And, once you have those two, working out the other things and getting trained for the unknown is just a matter of time. There it goes, my "glass half full" again.

Arnav - someone who may not ever say the right things when it matters the most but his instinct to display his intensity is always spot on and I think that is what is going to really get him Khushi.

Khushi - someone who knows all the "politically correct" words to say, will soon realize that love is not about being political nor about being correct all the time. And that realization is what is going to get her Arnav.

Come to think about it, for all the bickering about the love of land or the place they want to hang on to, it's about time they realize that a place is only as good as the people in it and a relation is only as good as the emotion in it.

I am glad and truly believe that Arnav took the first step by planting the seed of trust in Khushi with a simple "I will stay back in India". Loving is always the easy part, doing it, is always the hard part. I really hope Khushi finds it in her to get to that, but for that, she needs to lay back a bit, take a deep breathe, close her eyes and slowly open her heart.

Waiting for that moment and waiting for my other half of glass to get filled soon. I am sure you already know Choti, it is not considered manners to cheer with a glass, that is half full!!!

Sorry for taking forever to write my comment. Choti, your writing is awesome. I love your khushi, she's got her head on her shoulders. While she is grateful to arnav's parents she's also mindful of arnav's dreams. So she's being pragmatic. Of course we would love her to declare her love and all to arnav but that's not real is it? These are the conundrums we face in real life. Nk maybe the fall guy here, cos ultimately they will work it out:) but the journey will be interesting to read. Hats off choti, you amaze me. Cheers!

I have stuff to say!!

________________

Oh boy do I ever.. This is my favorite part of the entire story! That terrace scene, that fight, that last lingering look and touch, ache-filled. It was all that it could be, it was all that is should be, Letting go is so rending.. Kya karti ho yaar! My heart went out for Arnav.. and I was glad that Khushi took her moment to fill her soul by caressing his face. That moment was so filled with pain, so filled with longing..

What is Choti or Chutki about you? Absolutely nothing..The way you imagine the pain that these two must feel, I felt it. The way you write that moment of inevitable knowledge that this will not work, I saw it happen. The way you describe Khushi giving into that desire to memorize the feel of his face, the creases around his eyes, I felt it...

Very masterfully written, with such powerful emotions that calling you Choti or Chutki is almost a slight.. [But I am not changing that anytime soon though.. :)]

What a great job here ... Hats off.. This is how writing evolves.. you are showing us.. I loved it.

Each line was filled with emotion. Arnav's anguish. Khushi's confusion and pain.

I am glad that you made Arnav agree to stay in India. True love will make you want to do things for your lover.

I am glad you made Khushi reject the proposal even if Arnav agreed to stay. It is the right thing to do. He will regret it later.

But I am sad that Khushi never even once thought of going to London with Arnav. Shouldn't her love also drive her to desperation and think (at least) of the possibility of the move to UK ? For Arnav ?

Enjoyed the chapter from start to end.
The part I liked most was when Khushi ran her fingers over Arnav's face to remember all the minute details. Reminded me of the day in RR where Paro wanted to spend one full day with Rudra before leaving him forever.

Such an impressive story...take a bow...you have such an amazing narrative style. My heart is crying along with Arnav and Khushi...why does Khushi seem not to care as much as Arnav? He is even willing to give up his dream of England...regardless of holding him back and making him feel resentful etc. surely that should count for something. Yet Khushi seems not to care...could almost hear Arnav Singh Raizada's signature tune coming on in the background as ASR determined he will not give up after his conversation with Anjali...so what will he do now? Please update soon, Choti?

Best,

Nothing seems to be getting through the ice queen Elsa - sorry I mean Kushi, not Anjali, not Ashok and not even Arnav's urgent pleas and about face on his decision to go to England. Up until now, I was with her being pissed that he completely bypassed her input into the decision for their future, I could justify her anger and refusal. But he has tried to reach out and initiate a dialogue by offering to stay in India. Instead she goes back in her shell further, playing the I will make a decision for our future heroine. Was she not mad at him for making a decision on their behalf? Who is she to determine their future now? I am not saying that her reasons are invalid, they could very well turn out to be real after they get together and stay in India. However, she should have brought them up as a topic for discussion instead of shutting him out completely. I am heartbroken for them. Whatever happened to their ability to freely discuss everything? Is the most important decision of their life not worth a level headed conversation? I am sorry if I am completely off tangent here but I can only see her hypocrisy in making a decision on their behalf now that he is bending.
I am however very shocked at Arnav's reaction after his chat with Anjali because I misread the teaser. For some reason, I felt he was not going to react but here he is taking off like a mad man more determined to claim her back. For some reason, he is fighting more for them than her. Not sure if this has to do with the fact that she has to prove her gratefulness to his parents for having taken her in after her parents's demise. I am sure Ashok made his point of view very clear about her making a decision that will make her happy.

Looking forward to the next chapter as always.
