I finally managed to read the complete fiction and had a very pleasant time reading it. This fiction is definitely worth the read. There is love, lust, sacrifice, solidarity, passion, pain and so much more. The most intriguing flavour was the politics and the web it spins around the lives even remotely involved in it.
I also feel that the character sketch was very beautiful too. Every character came to the picture with its own baggage and managed to establish its individuality quite firmly. Rajmata and Maasaheb have been completely opposite in their approach. While one has been compassionate and understanding the other has been indiffirent and disinterested. At one point, I wondered if Maasaheb really accepted Arnav whole-heartedly or was it just a pretense to see her family not being wiped out completely or maybe she has stoically isolated her emotions and probably that is why she failed to stand up to the pitiful plight her daughter-in-law was going through at the hands of her son.
Akash has made the gravest of faults in the past and is repenting for it but he clearly had no right to treat his wife as a mere doormat. I am glad she stood up for her self respect and move on in her life. This will give her a chance to prove her worth and him a chance to learn the rulebook when it comes to treating your woman.
I really wish Anjali doesn't have to become a sacrificial lamb and I want her to look after her own hapiness. She isn't weak or devoid of back-up to worry about all the 'what ifs' so it is only fair if she speaks up. Aman on the other hand has redefined friendship. I have come to respect his character alot. Despite of his past grievances, he has been strong and decently calm.
Khushi reminds me of a fierce lioness who can surpass all her boundaries to protect her love and loved one's. She also reminds me of that single ray of sun that filtrats through the barriers, warming and lightning her surroundings. She comes across a warrior and a beautiful human being. Arnav- the excruciatingly handsome, chikna neta is my favourite. I love his brutal honesty and selfless approach towards everything he does. His passion towards his work makes me admire him all the more. I really look forward to see how they tackle the current situation they are in.
Waiting for the next part.
Update soon. π
