Hey Mary!!!
🤗🤗
It's been a while!
I always wanted to comment on this chapter, but everytime I tried, words failed me. Truly. There's no other reason.
Sometimes words, no matter how beautiful, take away from the beauty of the moment, that's how poignant and untouchable a moment can be. And that's the moment I felt I stepped into when I read this chapter. I had no words, and you KNOW I like to babble.
From the song (one of my favorites) to it's depiction, to the choice of words used in between the verses, to the scenes that went, rather danced on the tune of the songs, it was all magical.
Honestly, I think this was more ... gratifying to read than the Arnav Anjali stories. Her finally taking the step, the words 'aaya kahan se, yeh hosla re' ... I could see her hesitating, the 'hosla' coming, and him wondering about all of it - one moment, one picture in my head - worth a million words. And your words put that picture there.
I couldn't have found a more befitting song if I'd written one up myself ... it was PURRRFECT, Madhuri style.
My favorite verse in this song, for Anjali, as if it was written for her, from her to Imad:
Chalna aahiste ishq naya hai
Pehla yeh vada humne kiya hai
So I hope you forgive the extremely late reply, but I swear I wrote it up many times, only to delete it because I didn't think my comment was befitting.
Love,
-S
P.S - There was the other matter of my sister getting married too ... was extremely busy hosting the event and all the guests from out of town ... everyone's left now, I can relax and read my FFs, and comment away :)
