Part 2

Since last evening at Handa Residence...

It was a usual day for the Handas...

Ranjit n Rano came home at their usual tym at 8pm...Pinky was studying for her IPCC exams cumin up recently...

Rano entered her room...

Rano-pinky beta,kitna padhogi...kabhi to in books se nickal kar dekho... Apne Di ka bhi record todna hai kya tumhe???

Pinky-plzzz mom,don't disturb me...exams r approaching n I shud be studying...wht r u??all my frnd'z parents scold them to study n u r telling me to stop studying...

Rano-coz u r always engrossed in ur books...sum fresh air is also needed baby...I wonder if u hv seen at any guy for a long tym...

Pinky's head shot up listening to her mom's words...she was shocked to hear Sumthing like this frm her mom's mouth...her mouth totally sticking the ground due to shock...

Rano-wht..?!! Muh band kar apna...Varna machhar ghus jaaegi...

Pinky immediately closed her mouth...

Pinky-wht Did u just say mom,boys...???!!!

Rano-wht.?!! Ya,I said boys...Look at u... So good looking n smart n intelligent...n lost herself in these stupid books...have sum fun dear...itna padhogi to pagal ho jaogi...

N I trust my sweetiepie a lot tht she will do well in her exams n pass out with flying colours...so I don't need to scold u for any reason...N this is how u girls tlk abt na nowadays...boys n all...

Pinky-mom,u r insane...now go let me study for sumtym...I'll join u ppl for dinner... U know,i dont study much at nights...my sleep is most important...

Rano-ok dear...come soon...vaise ghar itna suna suna kyu hai...GEET nhi aayi kya ABHI tak..!???

Pinky-nhi mom...vaise to Di ko ab tak aa jaana chahiye tha but she has not turned up yet...mene unhe call bhi liya tha but unka cell switched off aaya..

To mujhe lag ki meeting me hogi isiliye firse call nhi kiya...

Rano-ok,thik hai...me dekhti hu...

Rano went to her room...saw her hubby reading sum file...she went to the washroom n freshened up...

Came out n hugged her hubby frm back...

Ranjit put his file down n pulled her n front n held her in his arms...

RH-kya hua.??? Aaj bada pyaar aa raha hai apne pati par...!!

Rano-kyu, nhi kar rakti kya..???

RH-aur jab me subhe tumse baat karne ki koshish kar raha tha tab kya hua..??

Rano-ranjit,tab vaha patients ki line lagi hui thi n u also had a surgery lined up...uss tym pe agar me tumhari baat subne beth jaati to tum to aur koi kaam hi nhi karte...

RH-acha chali thik hai...mannli tumhari baat...bolo kya hua..???

Rano-GEET ABHI tak ghar nhi lauti...Plzzz usse call kar ke dekho...

RH while hugging her-bas,itnisi baat... Aa jaaegi...humari beti bohot hoshiar hai...itne saare client ko handle karti hai...tym to lagega hi na...

Rano-mujhe pata hai but pata nhi kyu mujhe thodi bechaini si ho rahi hai...

Mujhe pinky ne kaha ki usne call kiya but GEET ne call uthaya nhi...aur abb 8 baje k baad kaisa kaam...aap bhi itna kaam nhi karte...mujhe aise lagta hai ki usse itna padhake galti kardi...bas din bharat kaam kaam aur sirf kaam... Tum baap-beti ek jaise ho...

RH-acha...tum kaho to me chod du...Tumhare liye to Jaan bhi haazir hai meri Jaan...

Rano-bas bas...plzzz aisi baatein mat kariye..pehele hi GEET k liye jee ghabra raha hai...

RH-acha chalo...me usse call karta hu...tum dinner ki tayyari karo...

Rano went towards the kitchen n RH took his cell to call geet...

He called many tyms but her cell was cumin switched off...now even RH started to get worried but kept it to himself not to tense Rano further...

He went to the dining table for having his dinner...n pinky joined them later...

Rano-ranjit,tumne kiya GEET ko call..??

RH-haa kiya mene but uska phone switched off aa raha hai...shayad thodi busy hogi...dinner karte hai fir wapas try karta hu...tumhe to pata hai na ki hum bhuke rahe ye Geet ko pasand nhi... She has always told us not to wait for her as she can get late anytime...

Rano-haa haa thik hai geet k adnyadhaarak dad...

Pinky giggled listening to this...

RH-so Pinky tumhari padhai kaise chal rahi hai..???

Pinky-achi chal rahi hai dad...but aap to mujhe kabhi daantte hi nhi...abhi thodi der pehele mom bolti hai ki me ladko ki tariff dekhti bhi nhi houngi in books k piche...

RH-to kya galat kaha...humare tym pe to me aur Rano already ek dusre ke saath commit ho chuke the... Aur tum daantneka mauka kaha deti ho...meri bachi hai hi itni pyaari aur studious ki hume daantneki koi zaroorat nhi hai...

Pinky was shocked as well as overwhelmed listening to her father...

They trusted their daughters very much...they knew they will never do anything tht will make their parents unhappy or they themselves will regret doing...n shocked to listen to her father's relevation of their love relation so many yrs back...

Pinky glanced at Rano who was turning pink listening to RH's words...

They continued with their dinner...

Around 10pm

After dinner was done,RH tried GEET's cell for the nth tym...but still no response...now RH was getting too much worried...

So RH decided to call Tejasvi to know if GEET was still in office...

RH-hello,TJ...

Tejasvi (known as TJ)-hello uncle aaj apne mujhe kaise yaad kiya...kya hua, GEET ko fir naraaz kar diya kya..???

RH-kya,matlab GEET office me nhi hai..???

TJ-kya uncle,Geet itni der tak office me kya karegi...vo to apne usual tym pe hi nickal gayi around 5 baje...

Rh-kya..??par vo ABHI tak ghar nhi aayi hai...koi meeting to nhi thi na...

Now RH was getting really worried...

He started getting really tensed n getting weird feeling of wht might have happened to geet...

TJ-nhi uncle...vo aur Khanak to ek saath hi nikle the office se...shayad Khanak ke saath ho...??!!

RH-ok thnk u beta...me Khanak ko call latke dekhta hu...

TJ-ok uncle...aur agar apki baat usse ho to mujhe bhi call karneko kahiye...

Rh-Ok betaji...byee

TJ-bye uncle..take care...

RH disconnected TJ's call n immediately called Khanak...

Khanak-hello...

Rh-hello Khanak beta,GEET tumhare saath hai kya???vo ABHI tak ghar nhi aayi...uska phone bhi band hai...

Khanak-kya??nhi to uncle...me aur GEET to saath me hi office se nikal Gaye the...vo to apni car me bethkar nikli bhi thi towards home...I saw her...

RH-to kaha reh gayi ye ladki...Kuch ho to nhi...

Ranjit cudnt even think any further...

He started getting images of geet not being safe n trapped by sum ppl n wht not...all the thots were killing him inside...

He saw Rano n Pinky working in the kitchen cleaning up...

He got worried imagining their pale faces when they will cum to kno tht GEET is no wer to be found...

Without saying anything,he cut the call,also making Khanak worried...

Khanak called TJ n told her everything...now both were hell worried for GEET...wer might she be??

Was she any danger..??? All wer hell scared...

Ranjit went to Rano n Pinky n told them wht he got to know...

Rano was now on hyper mode n Pinky totally scared for her dear sis...

Geet is like life for all of them...she was the brightness n happiness in this house...life support of every person in this family...Rano's helper in sum work at home,

Dad's princess n pinky's closest frnd...sumtyms helper,advicer,joker n even the little Kid... shes dearle loved by everyone she meets...all get attracted to her innocence yet mature self...

Every1 were shedding tears...wht might have happened to her...they had not other way to find out but to wait for her or some random call...

Tho thought of sumthing happening to Geet almost pierced their hearts with thousand needles...

After sumtym,Khanak called RH n TJ in conference to know abt Geet...they also tried calling her...but to no avail...

Khanak-Uncle,kuch pata chala Geet ke baare me...???

RH-nhi beta...pata nhi kaha chali gayi hai meri bachi...

TJ-uncle,dont worry..vo aa jaaegi...apko pata hai na ki vo aisa vaisa kuch nhi karegi...aap ko Geet pe bharosa hai na..??

RH-mujhe pata hai beta,meri Geet aisa kuch nhi karegi...me to uspe,sabse zyaada bharosa hai...but agar usse kuch ho gaya to hum jiteji marr jaenge...

TJ-uncle,plzz aisa mat kahiye...Geet ko kuch nhi hoga...she wud be fyn...

Khanak-ha uncle,plzz dont say like this...Geet ko bilkul acha nhi lagega ki aap aisi baatein kar rahe ho...vo aap se kitna pyaar karti hai aapko pata hai na...

TJ-uncle,aap kahe to hum aapke paas aa jaye...Pinky aur aunty bhi bohot roo rahe honge...

RH-nhi beta,its ok...its very late now...ur mom dad will scold u...me tum logonko bata dunga jaise hi mujhe kuch pata chale ya fir Geet hi ghar aa jaae...

Khanak-uncle,tym k baare me bilkul bhi mat sochna...hume to vaise bhi nind nhi aane waali...

RH-ha beta,pakka call karunga aap ko...abb aap log bhi aaram kar lijiye,thak gaye hoge itna kaam karke...me Geetko jaanta hu...vo tum logonki jaan leleti hogi kaam de dekar...

All the three smiled in tears remembering Geet n her sweet antics...

Where is she???how is she???all such questions were pooping in their minds...

Pinky totally forgot abt her studies...how will she study without her mentor n frnd Di...

Rano totally lost her smile...her gaze was lost in the skies..not knowing wht she was looking at...her daughter,her life,her frnd was not with her...

The bond between all of them was very intense...

Seconds passed,minutes passed,hours passed...but still no news abt Geet...

Rh thought of calling to a frnd of his in policefor finding out Geet..but thn he thought otherwise.. Rano also dint want to involve police till they get to know atleast sumthing abt her...they wer totally shattered...the might passed in worrying n thinking wht mighthv happened...

Morning,

All were sitting on the sofa n dozing on each other...they cudnt go n sleep peacefully wen their daughter was in danger...they cudnt leave each other...every person needed support of the other...

At around 8am,even TJ n Khanak came to Handa residence... seeing them,Pinky n Rano cudnt hold back more..they both bursted in tears...RH held himself very strong even if he was also not able to hold it...

Around 9.30 am,RH's cell phone rang...he immediately picked up the call dreading to hear the worse...

RH- hello...!! Whose dis.???he said in a tensed voice...

Nidhi-m I speaking to dr.Ranjit Handa...??

RH- yes,whose dis..???relieved to hear a girl's voice...

Nidhi-sir,m calling frm Dr. Kotnis hospital n want to inform u tht ur daughter miss. GEET is admitted over here...

RH- wht..??? Wht happened to her ?? How is she??? Is there Sumthing serious???m cumin there immediately...he said it all in a go without breathing once...

Nidhi-calm down sir..she's fyn now...U plzz cum but don't worry much...

RH- thnkx,thnkx a lot... M coming there in sumtym...

Nidhi- ok sir...

Listening to RH's number of questions,Rano got more scared...whts happening...

As soon as RH hanged the call,he turned towards the ladies with a warm smile but still a worried look tht brought a hope n confusion in the minds of all...

He announced,

RH-chalo guys we need to go...TJ n Khanak,u both follow me frm ur car...

TJ n Khanak-Ok uncle.getting a hint tht he has found sumthing abt Geet...they dint ask much as they were desperate to meet their dear frnd...

Rano-Ranjit atleast tell us wht happened...??who was it???was it frm Geet??/

RH-Rano,Geet has met with an accident...tha call was from tht hospital...we need to leave now..i'll tell u everything in the car...

Saying so all rushed out to see Geet...RH told everything to Rano abt the call...

All were happy tht they got to know sumthing abt her but were equally tensed abt how she might be...they reached the hospital as soon as possible...they went to the reception n askd abt her...they were showed the way to the room...all almost ran towards the room looking for Geet...n there she was lying on the bed,totally bandaged n bruised,her eyes closed...all sighed atleast they got her glimpse...
