Given that you mention it specifically, that is my fav scene that I wanted to write for Noli Me tangere (since 6 months)...but ended up writing for this one. Although in the process, I found a similar scene in one of Lahiri's stories.
No issues about the delay.
The response to your question is in your comment too. It's was another situation for her to consider his angst...that's all.
I would say both Maan and Geet are fighters in my view (given that you don't like this Maan, I think Nirvana and you can be a team) but fighting against their own agendas.
