Its so good to know that you are enjoying the story...
Since you are more familiar with the places mentioned in the FF , feel free to suggest anything special about the place ,u know stuff that only the natives know. I would love to include such things and your inputs will be of great help since i don't know about the Dehradun-Mussorie area 😳
Before reading next part...I will tell u about DDun and Mussoorie...Mussoorie is 18 kms from DDun it takes nearly 45 min.because of sharp bends in hill roads to reach there...imp. tourist places are---the Mall road from where u can see whole of DDun...it has a market also...then Buddhist Monestry is there around 10 kms from Mussoorie towards Dhanolti road...then famous Kempty Falls are there...mussoorie has two faces..new Mussoorie faced towards DDun but old Mussoorie is behind the hill...Kempty falls are around 20 kms from new Mussoorie...Dehra Dun is surrounded by Jungles and hills from all sides...if u go towards Delhi u will have to cross Shivalik Ranges that consists of Rajaji National Park...if u go from DDun to Rishikesh or Haridwar u will have to cross lower Himalaya hills and Rajaji National Park (same park is stretched upto Haridwar)...there is one more very beautiful hill station is there---Chakrata...not many tourists go there but it is very beautiful...from DDun to Vikas Nagar then Chakrata...
DDun has also many tourist spots---Famous Sahastradhara falls, Paltan Bazaar, Robber's cave or locally known as Jhari Paani, FRI (forest research institue), IMA (Indian Military Academy), IIP (Indian Institute of Petroleum), Lachchi wala, Buddhist Monestry in Sahastradhara road, DDun has a very beautifully decorated National Bus Turminus,...
If any of information u want to know about DDun...u are free to ask me...
