Wow. Too much happened too fast now. I am yet to decide if it made me excited or nervous as you both pointed out - the story has picked up pace and it went from 0 to 10. So many life altering events happened for so many characters in one go. I guess it's for good.
My two cents and current feeling
Am glad Ayaan didn’t beat around the bush and told Faltu that he is aware of their “almost wedding” (which still makes me cringe - super illogical and meme worthy - but that topic for another day) and his true feelings for her. I felt very relieved. As silly as it was I also like Faltu hanging on to her set of doubts as it was inline with her inexperience and naivety. She doesn’t have the same maturity as Ayaan so she is sticking to what she thinks is valid proof of Ayaan’s involvement in her expulsion from the cricket academy. Points to both the actors for portraying it so well
Also, makers didn’t add loud BGMs, songs, and camera zooming which made it look much real. What I loved the most is - Ayaan's confession was done in a more matter of factly manner as if this was the only truth he has been living with.
Faltu was also good in her scene with Sid, when she didn’t let her emotions overcome her till Sid left. She told Sid exactly what she thinks and what she knows. And somewhere it gave us (the audience) a peek inside her mind where Ayaan is her mentor first and more than anything she is feeling betrayed by her guru who gave her courage to dream. She is not in the state of mind to look past this right now. She may be able to process her true feelings, when her thoughts are not too clouded with hurt and disappointment.
Now it’s left to see what Ayaan will do next? Going by his poor record I am not counting on his ability to find the real culprit. Sid may take care of that as well to get this hurdle out of his (and our) way
As Goddy said Kanika may play a role here and turn things around. By taking the blame on herself and/or striking a deal with Ayaan about Faltu's cricket career. In either case I would love to see Ayaan leaving his family and Tanisha both. That may make Tanisha go bonkers. But that’s alright. Oh that reminded me, I really liked Tanisha’s acting today. She showed all the right emotions - fear, worry, hurt, and sadness. I felt kinda bad for her. She isn’t exactly a bad person, but her obsession for Ayaan and bad company ruined her Sid's mom was clever today. She chose her words carefully and twisted the knife further.
Rest of the family members were useless like always
Precap says - Sat and Sun - so I am assuming they won’t stall the next phase of the story for too long.
