I like the second approach whatever you said. The first approach will have an EMA touch and already Imlie had this flavor and I remember the forum was in fire. I would love to see Ayaan going against his father and family, leaving the business and move out with Faltu. They can try to start a small business, while helping Faltu in cricket, and the villans Kanika, Sid and Tanu can give them trouble, if possible Vishal can join the party too 🤣. My worst fear is they should not go in a stupid way where Tanu will mix something in Ayaan’s drink and sleep with him and get pregnant. Any twist and turn is acceptable except this. This will be disgusting and pukeworthy. We need to wait and watch how the story is going to get unfolded by the makers.

After watching today’s precap, I am having heart ache. I didn’t expect Ayaan will speak like this. Finally they both met, Alas! All they spoke was bitter words. I don’t understand Ayaan’s thoughts. He has understood his feelings. Is he just going to help with her career or he is going to confess his love to Faltu and pursue her. After seeing the scenes between Ayaan and Tanu, my sympathies are with Faltu.

Ha ha EMA, drink spike, and Tanisha’s pregnancy!! That would be a recipe for disaster. Hope makers will sincerely follow through your warning and not take that doomed route.

And anyways can ITV please move past these bizarre plots like intoxicate someone and take advantage? It’s just so disgusting and something totally of 90s problematic movies (ITV/DD back then was much more forward thinking and creative).

Haven’t watched the episode yet but I feel it’s high time they both confront each other and have a candid talk. Let all their complains and insecurities come out. Even if it means they hurt each other and part away (for sometime) this will give a much needed meaningful direction to their relationship. I somehow didn’t buy into Ayaan’s sudden love for Faltu. Faltu on the other hand regards him as a mentor first. Baring her “marriage nibhao” obsessions; she has mostly kept her emotions and priorities in check.
I would love to see Ayaan taking a break from his emotions and start seeing Faltu in a different light. He should start from the base - know her as a person (and not his responsibility), treat her as equal (again not his guilt, accidental wife, or duty), develop friendship, watch her growth as a person and cricketer both, and fall in love with her all over again (alas!! can’t undo his previous love declarations. So asking for second time love and for the right reasons this time around).

Heck I would be happy if he allows himself to feels hurt, disappointed, and angry with everyone and learn to prioritize himself. It’s high time he gets free from all the duties (including Faltu’s savior) and live some life for himself as well.
As for Faltu - once this Vishal matter is settled - first thing she should stop using those stupid and totally unbelievable disguises and doing odd jobs. and focus on her family and cricket for a while. Also totally forget about that half done marriage.and develope feelings for Ayaan for the person he is. Faltu’s scenes with her cousin brother and new set of friends is super heartwarming. I so wish they show her academy journey with her own age “normal” girls and do usual teenager fun stuffs. Re-introducing and building her love story with Ayaan in this set-up would be so much more beautiful. Wishful thinking 🤗 looks like I almost want them to start from the start. Ha ha.

Any ways long (rant) story short - I feel It’s not too late to create an admiration to attachment journey for both of them. I hope makers will surprise us in a good way.

The issue with itv's regressive and reused plots is that people still watch. If people stop watching when dumb or disturbing plots are added into stories, writers will feel compelled to change. Indian viewers have gotten used to the mixing something in a drink narrative. I really really hope the writers here will not take that route. I wanna see Faltu work towards her dream and proving everyone in her village wrong along with Ayaan leaving the shackles of responsibility and guilt to finally live his life on his own terms. I also feel Sid is very underutilized. The character has potential if used properly.

Faltu's disguises shouldn't last for longer than two-three episodes. Considering the precap, I don't think it is something to worry about. This misunderstanding isn't so big that they won't be able to clear it. Unless the writers choose the extend it as they've been doing for a while now. It also seems like Kanika and Tanu have begun to notice Sid's feelings. We'll see where things go from hereon.

I agree. Not sure whom to blame the makers or audience. I feel the underlying problem for all of this is infinite series format where the audience expect daily dose of entertainment for prolonged duration. This is what makes the quality go down. Both the audience and makers needs to be blamed.

Hmm. Point. Makers will continue catering to what TRP audience want. And if these tropes are selling they will continue churning the same content ☹️

I am still hoping though that makers would have some better tricks up their sleeves. Let’s see.

I also feel the some of the family members noticed Sid’s feelings towards Tanu. Not sure how are theu going to utilize this in upcoming plot. I couldn’t make out if Tanu comprehend that or not.

Ayaan taking a different route to support Faltu was good. I think this will be revealed to Faltu later (post Ayaan’s proof of innocence) to give her more guilt of not believing in him while he was on her side all along.

As we all agreed - Sid’s character should be utilized better. The actor looks pretty capable. But so far he is kept in the background while Kanika is being made the main player. They also pushed Puppy out of the story and Vishal is also made just a plot device. Else both had potential to be a better catalyst. So far Kanika has been lackluster and there is no layers or depth to her character (which actor tries to compensate by making weird expressions). If they can’t get rid of her; they should give her more dimensions. As a mom and business partner, she has a lot at stake. But the current story makes it look like just her personal vendetta against Faltu and Ayaan.

I wonder what happened to Faltu’s cousin and Ayaan’s bua. They were great support systems to protagonists. Also Dr is brought back to the story. Was it just for one scene or he has more to offer. Only time will tell.

I also liked the way Ayaan opened a new page and made Faltu’s video viral. This idea is so much in tune with the times we live. Glad the makers are using more relastic ideas. Coming to bua and pappi missing in action is the reason would daily soap goes track by track and not as a complete story. For previous track pappi was the main catalyst to move forward it, once they move to the next Rocky Bhai track pappi became irrelevant 🤣.

He he. I would happily pick Pappi over Rocky. I hope they end this track asap.

I also wish they would have shown a good friend or confidant for Ayaan. Poor guy - he used to share his worry for Faltu with his bua at least. Now he is mostly talking to himself. What a sad life. Family is full of youngsters and supposedly cool elders too. But not a single person of substance. They all are just flowerpots. Not even his little sister. Who randomly walks around with the camera 🙄. And Ayaan’s mom ugh!! She is worse than his dad. Either she is crying, doing Tanisha worshiping or guilt tripping Ayaan. Extremely annoying!! Dadi is another useless character. Only Sid seems to have a personality but he is on the other side.

Again the same precap. We need to see how many more days they are going to run the same one. I see Ayaan is suffocating hiding his feelings for faltu. Not sure what is his plan! He is go for counseling right, he should speak to the counselor when Tanu is not around, probably he will get some solace of course not solution. For solution he need to take steps. The same thing in Imlie where Adi was alone in spite of a having a big family. I still not able to come in terms about Faltu doubting Ayaan. Is she not able to see how Ayaan is struggling. Does Ayaan atleast deserve benifit or doubt after what and all he went through to support Faltu. I was also surprised when Tanu mentioned about therapy, Faltu didn’t bother to ask what for Ayaan is going for counseling session.

Agree with every single word you wrote. I watched the episode few mins back. Another waste one. Story didn’t move an inch. Same precap. What was the point of that whole cringe antyakshari. I FFed most of it. Didn’t want to watch the annoying family performance.

Ayaan has been sharing his longing and worry for Faltu to Rocky (I mean she can tell right that Ayaan is talking about her only), he has been looking for her everywhere, and now even sang a sad song as well. But Faltu can’t read into any of it. She instantly believed in Vishal’s word and making Ayaan a shrewd villain in her mind. Also as you said she didn’t show even an iota of worry/concern about Ayaan’s mental health when Tanisha was thanking Rocky. So what was the use of all that in the story!
Unless makers are deliberately making her thick so that they can turn the story around in next phase (post truth reveal) where she is chasing Ayaan for his love and forgiveness. But before that lots of mess has to be cleaned.
