Hi everybody!
I'm totally loving Kaha Suni, Ekaant and Sanrachana shows in Epic! These shows are presented in a very smart and unique way combining myths and legends of the place with their probable scientific reasons behind why it is the way it is . They actually remind me of certain old Discovery Channel shows. 😊

I have recently started watching this channel and these shows and have become a ardent fan of it!

So is there anybody else who is a fan of these shows? If so please join the discussion and let us all together discuss the interesting episodes of these shows! 😃

-Niki

PS: 'Lost recipes ' show is also very interesting! 😃

Oh so what they are airing now are repeats of Sanrachna? I didn't know that! Well that's really disappointing because like I said, I started watching it just now... :(
But is it like being aired in Seasons? Maybe be there will be a season 2?

The shows eere brilliant.
This is the only sensible channel on Indian television.

I just hope it remained what it started off as. I do not like increasing focus on movies these days.

Don't become a sellout Epic TV!

Yeah the channel is an Indian version of Discovery, Nat Geo and History channels all put together!

It imparts so much knowledge of the things we might hv already seen before but never saw it the way it was meant to be! Like I have visited Char Minar and Jantar Mantar, but knew its history only after watching Sanrachna!

Now they seriously need to stick to their content and format and promote it as an educational channel, so more people who like the genre would watch it...

Hey, same here. I totally love EPIC!
They have beautifully put forward and presented these shows.

I love Kahi Suni for its stories, myths, legends and folklore.
Ekaant for portraying mystical abandoned monuments.
And Sanrachna for giving us information about Indian historical marvels back in time which still have stood ground.

I never knew most of these places and after watching EPIC,
I really wish to visit these sooner or later.
And the narration and presentation of these facts is just brilliant.
There are many travel shows but they just overload us with information, missing out on the speciality part of that place/monument.
Epic nails it, really!

One thing is for sure, after watching EPIC, I'm even more proud of India's treasures which people should protect and safeguard for future generations to see.

Hoping to see more of quality infotainment from EPIC in the future.

P.S - I'm really glad they show classical songs in the adverts time, I hope it doesn't change. And I agree with the fact that they shouldn't show more movies when the shows aren't being aired.

Also did you check out the short format dummy clips which they show in between. Even those are loaded with interesting trivia and facts.

I also started watching EPIC recently, so I missed out on earlier amazing shows, I wish I could find a link to watch them online, but there isn't any :(

@cutemug: Beautifully said buddy! EPIC is truly epic in terms of its content and presentation!
Love the way how in the end of Ekaant the presenter allows us to choose the take away from it... Gives us the freedom to choose our version of the history from what was presented instead of telling we what we should be choosing like the recent episode of Mysore curse where he said we could either believe in the legends or scientific facts, purely our discretion. Similarly loved the way he said about Ross Island episode that in the end even though it is sad history, it still is OUR history! :)

N yeah love those short formats... Saw one of Jataka tales and another of Indian silk trade! Was so cute and informative at the same time!

Also agree with u on those beautiful Classical songs played during Breaks... So soulfully melodious... And even the picturization is peaceful...
