Jhansi Ki Rani Zee tv's Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani... Jhansi Ki Rani is a superbly hit historical television series created by Contiloe Telefilms. The story based on the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai of Jhansi, who led the Indian Rebellion of 1857, started August 18, 2009. Now the story comes to a dramatic yet logical end. Jhansi Ki Rani started with Manu, an eight-year-old girl's tale who later became Rani Lakshmi Bai. Ulka Gupta played the younger Rani brilliantly while the older Rani Lakshmi Bai enacted by Kratika Sengar too was very good. Zee replaces Jhansi Ki Rani with yet another historical show Shobha Somanth Ki that stars Yash Tonk and Amrita Raichand. It is an inspiring tale of Gujarat's Rani Shobhana who withstood the fiery invasion by the Mughal emperor Ghazni. |
