First Episode Review

Well the show is set in 1841 and I don't know which place it is, as I couldn't read the hindi. Well one thing is for sure that the sets were spectacular!!! The british were actually white people and not like some movies where they are Indian😆.

It totally gives you the feeling of the 19th century era in India.

And basically what they showed today was how the british were forcing their rule over the Indian people and also over the Indian kigns and rulers. I don't know much about the hitory of Jhansi Ki Rani. But there's this guy Baji Roa who is the king. Manu (Jhansi ki Rani) is the daughter of the priest brahmin who serves Baji Rao.

And Manu I guess is a 12 or 13 years old girl, but she is not like other girls. She likes sword fighting, horse racing etc. And she hates the white people, since they have taken their freedom away.

And today's episode ended with Manu hbeating one white man becuase he hit an Inidian guy. Once everyone finds out, they ask her to apoligise but she doesn't and episode ends there.

So there is quite a bit of surprise factor in the story.

To summarize it, I think the show is awesome and it's a muct watch, not only for history lovers but also for normal drama lovers, since it contains all aspects that a normal serial has.
